Casa de São Bento by PURUS

I loved the location.

Floorboards are rather noisy and there was a faint musty smell in the bathroom.

Highly recommend Casa de Sao Bento. Lovely accommodation to stay in, our room was spacious and very clean. Comfortable beds and total silence at night meant we got great nights rest every night (and our room looked onto the street but it is extremely quiet). Breakfast was lovely and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Excellent value for money and such a central location- you can walk to the town centre in about 10-15 minutes. Easy parking outside the property and free. We will definitely stay here again when we’re back in Coimbra

Nothing, everything was perfect

Beautiful building. Re vamped. With character.

Had no life. Music should be played in breakfast room. Very cold feel to it as no personal touches. Staff very student like adding no value to the experience. Needed to ask for towels as no towels nor even a bottle of water. Beds and pillows are very uncomfortable. Mattress had a huge dent in it which needs to be replaced. Poor quality.

The staff was very helpful and the lobby area, courtyard and bar area was nice.

Our first room’s power kept going out. The staff moved us to another family room with no additional cost. Both rooms were very small. The pillow stuff g was very broken up and soft and the walls were very thin. It is also across from a prison and a bit more of a walk from the university than described.
