Dormio Resort Eifeler Tor

Location is brilliant with a lot of nearby hiking trails through beautiful nature. Apartment is clean, spacious with a nice kitchen. Our apartment had a nice sauna and jacuzzi. Room provides a nice view as well. There is a lovely grocery shop within resort complex, offering nice croissants, bread, dairy, snacks, drinks...

Amenities were scarce… it can be explained on a property/room page so guests know what to expect. For family of four provisions for four days look like: 3 dishwasher pods for 4 days stay…, one toilet paper… with staff guidance: you can buy more downstairs... If your traveller needs meet that trend, advice is to Bring Your Own: Pillows - provided ones were absolutely uncomfortable. Bathroom towels (provided kitchen towels were a better quality than bathroom towels), Dishwasher pods, toilet paper. Mattresses are too soft.

Location was great. They had lot of activities inside also for kids.

There was no airconditioner or vantilator, fan inside. The apartment was too hot in summer. Jacuzzi and sauna was not working either.

- lack of basic toiletries and stuff usually present at this type of accommodation. There was only a very small (few ml) shower/shampoo bottle not enough even for 1 use for all family. We had to buy our own soap/shower gel/shampoo AND Toilet paper!!! ( there was one roll for the entire week stay for one family). This is unacceptable - there was no coffee, tea, or minimum of things present in any rented accommodation . We had to look for a grocery store to buy them which was wasting our time -soft mattresses were very uncomfortable ; as for the pillows, they were a shame! please change them for decent ones -for the amount of money paid, we should not be bothered to buy ourselves basic toiletries and waste time to do shopping instead of relaxing. I do not expect to bring my own toilet paper, soap or dish washer tablets for a holiday stay at this price!

The location of the resort was great with facilities such as a supermarket, restaurants, electric car charging close by. The apartment was clean and self sufficient with all amenities such as a refrigerator and a dishwasher.

The mattress was terrible, so soft that you could almost feel the springs inside as well as the frame of the bed. It kind of ruined my experience there and left me with severe back pain.
