The Frangipani motel

Beautiful location in the Galle Fort street-side vibe. Comfortable room, quiet and interesting natural timber features throughout the majestic building. Delicious, generous breakfast, kind staff who all made our stay very enjoyable. :-)

Location was close to all happening streets and friendly host.

Water clogging in bathroom wash basin.

De locatie midden in het Fort. Fijn dat we zelf drinkwater konden tappen. Een groot bed met Klamboe. Wanneer je meerdere dagen blijft maken ze ( op aanvraag) de ruimtes schoon.

Nogal gehorig wb geluiden uit andere kamers.

Really close to all the shops cafes and middle of the Galle fort. Food was affordable, and the breakfast which was included in the room price was plenty including bread,butter,Jam,eggs,fruits and coffee. The restaurant/bar has a good menu. Clean rooms

We had to change rooms because our first room was too small and had a sky light which made it really difficult to fall asleep as the room was too bright, but next room was spacious. There wasn't soap in the bathroom and we had to ask for one, other toiletries weren't available. It's good if they can provide soap and maybe a small shampoo/conditioner and maybe a bottle of water complimentary. Anyway the room was what you receive for what you pay. Also we had to go to the ATM to take out cash to pay in cash because there wasn't anyone who knew to operate the card machine at the time of checkout (11a.m.) , which was bit inconvenient as I was planning to pay with my credit card.
