Villa Artemia

The views were incredible. The staff came to our assistance very quickly if there was a problem or query. The property was well maintained& clean, including the pool. It was well equipped and safe. Underground parking was a bonus.

It was noisy at night from other holiday makers and also sound carried from the discos in the town nearby. The music continued til after 1pm. Also noisy from neighbours on one side during the day. There was no sign of the ‘quiet hours’ mentioned in the booking. The market on Tuesday night caused us issues getting home. We struggled to find somewhere to park that was close enough walking distance. Ended up parking over a mile away and walking home in the dark. None of these things are ideal if you have young kids.

The communication with the host was exceptional. He explained everything clearly, was always available, and came immediately whenever assistance was needed. We genuinely felt that he would do everything possible to make our stay enjoyable. The villa is well equipped, and having a private bathroom with every bedroom is a huge advantage. The bathrooms look modern and function perfectly. The beds were comfortable overall, the garage was spacious and practical, and the private pool was excellent.

- Electrical buzzing noise from some switches/outlets - Ants present in the kitchen during the stay - Some kitchen equipment and utensils were worn or not well maintained There were a few things that affected our overall experience. A deeper maintenance refresh would help keep the property at the high standard it deserves. The biggest concern was an electrical buzzing noise coming from certain outlets or switches, especially near the shower. On our first evening it sounded like someone was ringing the doorbell or entering the garage, which was quite unsettling until we eventually discovered the source. The host was very responsive and came immediately which we truly appreciated. Another issue was ants in the kitchen. Rather than repeatedly bothering the host, we cleaned the area several times a day and used ant-control products ourselves, but it is not something we would expect to deal with during a holiday. Finally, although the villa looked clean on arrival, we gradually found several kitchen utensils and cookware that were either damaged, heavily worn, or not properly cleaned. Considering the price of the accommodation, we believe the kitchen equipment should be inspected more carefully between guests.
