Hidden gem

ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! Shame we only stayed only for 1 night (would recommend at least 2 nights). The staff and location are amazing. You definitely feel as a winemaker in the 16th century when you are there. Breakfast was superb. AC worked wonders in Italian heat. Didn't have a chance to experience wine tasting, but bought some wine and olive oil at their personal shop for later tasting - tastes wonderful! Overall, it was a great place to stay and we would happily come back!

The only small downside is that it’s a bit far from Lake Garda, so you may need a car, be ready for a longer walk or other possible mobility options.

Excellent stay that should have lasted longer.

Charming old farmhouse, renovated preserving authenticity. Airy room with AC. Good breakfast. Attentive and caring staff. Located on the edge of Moniga on a quiet street, however just 5 min walk away from about 5 restaurants. The owners also own vineyards and run their own winery just 100 m from the farmhouse, tasting and purchases possible. Closest beach is accessible by 15 min walk however height difference is about 60 meters which may mean an effort to return depending on your physical condition and weather. May you prefer to drive to the lake there is a parking lot (1,5 EUR/h) close to the port. Nice towns of Sirmione and Salo are closeby. Special note on care and honesty - due to our own carelessness we left a wallet in the room while leaving. Received a call from the staff instantly upon discovery. Luckily had enough lag in our itinerary to return and collect it fully intact. Grazie mille and thumbs up!

Be sure to end up at the red metal gate, not gray which appeared to be at the back of the property, though big signs referring to the agriturismo on both sides.

A place to be absolutely.

Personal is very friendly and helpfull. Beakfast is quite full, maybe fresh fruit missing ? There is also a nice bottle of sparkling wine waiting for you in the fridge 😁we had a pleasant wine tasting in the cellar. We bought some wines and olive oil. The terrace is pleasant with nice view. The house itself and decoration are beautiful . I recommend the place.

Maybe a single bed in 90 cm. But it is comfortable enough.

Room with a perfect view looking over olive trees and vineyard down to Lake Garda... Fantastic room, beautifully furnished with antiques with some contemporary touches. Great location close to town for restaurants and also close to the lake.

Very charming place

The accomodation is just like on the pictures, we enjoyed the huge terrace that was accessible from our room. Moniga is a small and not so crowded town but still has some bustle in the centre (with a lot of restaurants) which we really liked. Don’t miss Mamazita’s and the bar at the castle! The port and beach are just a 10 minutes walk away, with a dog friendly beach area. P.S. Wine tasting is a must at the winery!

Breakfast could have had a bigger selection from non-sweet food and vegetables, but it was ok for us as it was really tasty!

Prachtige locatie met ontzettend vriendelijk personeel

Prachtige locatie tussen de wijnvelden en op loopafstand van het Gardameer. Bovenal zeer goed verzorgde en schone kamers incl badkamer. Al het personeel was ontzettend vriendelijk en we hebben genoten van de heerlijke wijnen en olijfolie!

Bardzo udany pobyt :)

Super miejsce, czysto, kameralnie. Można posiedzieć na tarasie z widokiem na jezioro. Obiekt znajduje się w pewnej odległości od centrum, dzięki czemu jest cicho i spokojnie. W niedalekiej okolicy bardzo dobre knajpy. Do plaży wcale nie jest daleko, ok 10 minut. Zamykany parking. Pieski mile widziane :) Bardzo dobre śniadanie.

Een heerlijk verblijf aan een mooi meer.

Prachtig uitzicht, mooie ligging (loopafstand van het meer en dorp), vriendelijke mensen, uitstekend ontbijt, ruime kamers en goed parkeren. Goed geregeld allemaal. En een wijnproeverij is een aanrader. En de airco was top.

Voor ons waren de matrassen te stevig. Onze zoon vond zijn matras wel goed.

Sehr schön aber es gibt einiges zu verbessern

Das Haus hat schon eine besondere Atmosphäre. Das Zimmer ist geräumig; sehr sauber und vor allem klimatisiert, was bei über 35° besonders wichtig war. Auch ein Kühlschrank war vorhanden. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Das Personal, das nur morgens für das Frühstück und zur Zimmerreinigung im Haus war, war außerordentlich freundlich!! Auch die Dame im Weingutbüro, die tagsüber Ansprechpartnerin war, war äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Restaurants sind fußläufig erreichbar. Zum See musste man leider wegen der Hitze immer das Auto nehmen, da es zurück doch sehr lange und ständig bergauf ging , mindestens 1 km, wenn nicht mehr.

Leider hat das Personal beim Frühstück weder englisch noch deutsch gesprochen. Es waren aber 2 wirklich entzückende junge Frauen und wir haben uns über eine Übersetzungs-App verständigt. Leider war die Ausstattung im Appartment sehr dürftig. Es waren 2 Weingläser vorhanden und das war es. Keine Bier- oder Wassergläser, kein Messer, kein Löffel und auch keine Gabel, um sich z.B. Mal Obst aufzuschneiden. Es gab auch nirgendwo einen Schrank, in dem man etwas Equipment gefunden hätte. Auch nicht im Frühstücksraum. Ein Getränkekühlschrank im Frühstücksraum zur Selbstbedienung wäre auch hilfreich gewesen, selbstverständlich gegen Bezahlung, aber als Service, weil abends niemand mehr als Ansprechpartner zur Verfügung stand. Auch eine Notfall-Telefonnummer gab es nicht. Wenn das Weingut um 18 Uhr geschlossen hat, war auch niemand mehr telefonisch erreichbar. Im Apartment gab es außer den Betten leider nur 1 Sitzgelegenheit. Bei 2 Personen wäre ein 2. Sessel auch angenehmer gewesen. Die Möblierung auf der wunderschönen Terrasse mit herrlichem Blick auf den See ist eine Katastrophe!! Total unbequem und mehr als überholt. Muss dringend erneuert werden!

ruhige , schön gelegene Unterkunft am Ortsrand von Moniga del Garda

Das Agrigturismo Monte Cicogna liegt sehr schön am Ortsrand von Moniga del Garda zwischen Wein - und Olivenhainen. Sehr ruhige Lage. Mann ist aber in ein Paar Minuten in Moniga. Schöne Gemeinschaftsbalkon mit Blick auf den Gardasee und auch ein sehr gutes Frühstück.

Der hauseigen produzierte Wein ist im örtlichen Supermarkt günstiger wie im Verkaufsshop des Agrigturismo.
