If you are able to get a car during yout trip I would absolutely suggest staying here, it's out of the way, but truly stunning, we went in summer and the landscape was incredibly lush and green. This was admittedly our big spend on our trip and we opted to have a private stone bath in the room, and I unequivocally say, I have zero regrets, I wish we were able to spend more time.

The breakfast and dinners were incredible. The staff so kind and attentive to our needs. The rooms and onsen so beautiful and peaceful to be in.
We loved everything about this wonderful place. It was magical.

Very good location and nice traditional rooms.
Onsen in our room is nice but very small for 2 people.
The cleanliness of the room is not good, dust everywhere, on tv, windows, ventilation.
at this price we expected much more. Also service could be better at this price.
The dinner organisation could be better. Plastics over our food at our arrival, no water, no paper towels, food is just okay.
Breakfast is just ok. We had better in all our ryokan with better service and lower prices.
Personnel is nice but that ain’t be enough
