The location is close to the cable car station, and it's convenient for visitors to access the station. The dinner & breakfast buffet had a wide range of food. It's nice to have deer around and it's great experience.
It's too crowded during long holidays. It might be hard to get food at the buffet. The room's facilities were a bit old, and the door seemed too thin to block out outside noise.

The location is excellent, so close to the ropeway and hiking places. The hotel had performances by the Ainus and that was good for learning about the Ainu culture. The Ainu art craft stand is a nice addition. The restaurant buffet style worked well for the large crowd.
The Japanese room was very small for tall/big foreigners, and a bit sub-par.

Room was a decent size, buffet dinner and breakfast had some good options. Parking was easy and it was in a location we wanted to break up our drive.
We did not realize this was a huge tourist hotel catering to getting people in, fed, and out. We did not use the onsens as we expected they would be full of the bus loads of tourists. Could not control temperature in room so we were quite warn at night. Futon was a little hard.
