HOSHIYA Kamifurano

The apartment had two floors and it was huge! The big plus is the playroom with many different toys suitable for different ages. The location was close to the various places of interests in the area, with restaurants and supermarkets within a short drive. But do note many of the restaurants don’t open till very late in the area, as compared to Furano area. The apartment is great for large groups and we will highly recommend!

Toilets were downstairs while the rooms were upstairs, so for elderly it could be inconvenient. The steps are steep so carrying big luggages up could be an issue for some.

This was very nice, centrally-located private house with very comfortable beds and everything a group of people need for a stay. A rare opportunity for a 5-bedroom house (with five double beds). The beds are very pleasant (I enjoyed very much), the rooms are clean (as one could expect for Japan) and the area is quiet. A convenience store is nearby. I felt like being at home. We stayed here for a week. We even used the laundry machine, all amenities are there. I highly recommend!

Unfortunately, at our arrival, the house has not been cleaned after previous guests which is supposed to be the cleaning service fault. We managed to solve the problem by calling the owner with the help of our Japanese friend so that the cleaning service did the job in the next hours. At our arrival the house was cold as the heating was turned off. We solved this either, but after 24h of travelling and the temperatures in this part of Japan in winter this surprise was not very pleasant. The owner apologized for that. Heating (in winter) requires quite some management as there are individual heaters in each room (the bathroom and the toilets would perhaps needs their own heating). No bedside lamping. We managed to solve everything, so no big disadvantages whatsoever in this accommodation.
