Fabulous Florence location, clean and beautiful place!

Balcony view of the Duomo, 1/2 block walk to Duomo, clean, secure building! Person we met for keys upon arrival was very accommodating due to our unforeseen travel delay! We loved our home away from home!

Could use a second set of large towels, we ended up doing towel laundry since we were there awhile. Also add at least 2 wine glasses, we enjoyed sitting on balcony at night with a bottle of local wine.

The pull out bed mattress in living room doesn’t support two people! It felt like we were rolling towards each other. No plug-in for the kettle in the kitchen, had to be used in the bedroom. No light in main entrance to use the only mirror (not great for 4 girls!) Kitchen had no basic supplies (tea,coffee or a plug in!), odd. Had to share host wifi plug-in in the living room as there was only one other electric plug in, meaning we had to unplug the electrical bug container.

Half a block from Duomo, the best location. We could walk everywhere. Very secure and very, very quiet. Modern apartment, everything we needed. Great terrace to admire the duomo.

Era rental hotels is a hidden gem in a perfect location! Everything you could want to see is within a 10-15 minute walk. The view from the terrace right outside the room was indescribable!

I couldn't have asked for a better anything!

You're practically smack in the middle of the main attractions. There are many restaurants nearby and the best gelato ever very close by, La Strega Nocciola Gelateria.

There isn't much I didn't like but would like to point out the apartment is in an old building, if I remember correctly about 400 years old. But there is a lift to our apartment on the 3rd floor but there is some steps you need to climb, not a lot but if you're not able bodied, please do bear this in mind.

I really love this place — it’s very convenient for traveling and extremely close to the Colosseum. You can see the Colosseum at all times. Absolutely amazing!

We spent very little time there because it was an unappealing accommodation overall.

It was spartan and the furnishings it did have were old and unattractive. The water pressure was very weak and the water temperature was like warm at best.

Era apartment has the 'wow' factor'

This apartment definitely has the 'wow' factor-when you walked into the main room the wall paintings and decorative high ceiling made it something extra special -perfect for our 33rd wedding anniversary city break to Florence. The location was ideal just a few paces off the Piazza Del Duomo. Entrance was thru a classic great wooden door leading into a great townhouse with staircase leading up to the apartment. The shared rooftop terrace gave a wonderful view of the tops of the Duomo and Giotto belltower -perfect for a photo opportunity and to enjoy a glass of Chianti as the sun was setting. So much more memorable that staying in a bland corporate hotel . Florence was wonderful-lived up to all our expectations. The only problem with Florence is is the sheer number of tourists pouring in during the day-it takes on a more relaxed feel in the evening when the hordes of day trippers have gone. The collection of paintings and sculptures at the Uffizi was overwhelming magnificent. We would recommend trying the food court at the Central Market in San Lorenzo district-excellent choice of food and drink.

We were delayed on our flight out from Stansted by over 4 hrs which meant we were not going to arrive at the apartment until after the 7pm deadline as agreed with our host to collect the keys. As a matter of courtesy we tried to contact Era apartments direct on the phone number listed on the Booking.com site - +39 388 402 5044-to advise them of our delay and proposed new time of arrival in Florence. We phoned on 8 separate occasions as we made our way via Pisa airport to Florence but there was never any reply. We left messages but heard nothing. We had visions of not being able to access the apartment on our first night as we could not get hold of anyone at Era apts . Eventually Ricardo made contact via Whatsapp and everything went smoothly after that. My complaint is that surely if Era give a contact number then someone should be there to answer incoming calls - what is wrong with a mobile phone contact that hopefully someone will answer ! Not good enough.

horrible. The apartment was too cold. I texted them about of that and they told me that the rules are for all and the heating system is central, so they can’t do anything. And I got sick. They switch off the heating system at 9pm and turn on at 6am. During that hours you should freeze in the apartment.
