'The Terrace to the Cathedral', apartment in the center of Florence with terrace

This apartment just a stone’s throw from the Duomo exceeded our expectations. It had everything we needed for our 5 night stay and would have been completely comfortable for a much longer stay. It’s amazingly quiet. The kitchen was very well equipped and we easily prepared several meals there. The washer is a real plus. The patio is lovely although we didn’t have a chance to sit out there. Our host Alessandro welcomed us personally and provided a good orientation. He was very helpful throughout our stay. We highly recommend this place and would stay here again without hesitation.

Alessandro's place is amazing. Perfect location and perfect home. Alessandro is the only owner who has ever down with us at checkin to make sure we had all we might need and all we might need to know. The terrace is a wonderful plus! Thank you again for having us, Alessandro!

The apartment exceeded expectations. It is very comfortable and well appointed. The decor makes it feel very homey. The two beds (one is a fold out) are very comfortable. The rooms are spacious with tall windows that open onto the patio. Alessandro our host conducts a wonderful orientation to the property and to the areas around the property. His book is so well done with all types of tips in it.The location is ideal. First, as you wander away from the area, we found Il Duomo acted like a North Star. The dome or bell tower was one of the first things you spot. It helped orient you and guide back. The number of restaurants, shops, places to buy groceries, and the obligatory gelato are all within a short walk. In summary, this is an amazing property and I am so happy Alessandro has made it available.

Ideal location with easy access to all the major sites. Plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, and small grocery stores nearby. The apartment had everything we needed, and Alessandro was great at explaining everything to us the first night.
