Rugby House Kandy

It was a very good location, over that owner Mr Ravana is also very respectable and helpful person. I really appreciate the hospitality and also the architect design of the house. House also has a pool table and we played couple of pool games there, along with few sites of Live Rugby game in front of house which was again a pleasure.

Rugby House! My second stay in five years—and this trip has convinced me it needs to be an annual one. We were in Kandy for relief work, and coming back each evening to such a spacious, home-like place was a real comfort. It feels like having an entire house at the price of a room. Great location near a large supermarket and bus routes, a huge fully equipped kitchen, easy self check-in, and flexible check-out. The antiques, generous living spaces, stunning long balcony with mountain views, and the optional use of the electric bike were all real bonuses. Finding the hot water switch and pressure water setup was a bit confusing at first (not in the most obvious place!), but the host explained everything quickly and clearly. Highly recommended—always a great choice in Kandy.

Rugby House! We are so happy to back here second time that want to share with everyone our happy emotions.    Sri Lanka and Kandy in particular have become our favourite destination, even with all the recent floods getting to Kandy was not a problem and the roads have been cleared.  We felt save to stay at Rugby house, so close to everything: very large super market, bus routes, also you can book tuk-tuk any time.    Super sized kitchen with all what you need for cooking saved us so much money, and also we love homemade food eating on terrace enjoying of view. Also this is perfect place to watch Rugby. Large 12 meters balcony was made for this. Real VIP loggia to enjoy of game.    Self checking in and the extended check out time we were given made out so easy.       The place has so much of antiques and curios that it's a little museum... Hmm not little, with a pool table, large living room, a convered terrace and a large open balcony 12 meters in length overlooking mountains and vistas in a 180 degree plus unhindered view is breathtaking.  Always our place of choice. We highly recommend it to everyone.     Also we are very happy with host Ravi. Very kind and friendly person ready to help any time with any questions.  Thanks Ravi for everything!
