Modern clean apartment. Lovely garden terrace. Friendly helpful hosts. Extra bits in cupboards and fridge very nice surprise. Very welcoming. Close to Old City and short drive to beaches.

Steps. Dubrovnik is in steep hills so steps everywhere. Car park is some way away with steps if you had mobility issues.

Like everyone else on this site, we absolutely loved staying in this beautiful property. The hosts are exceptional, and made our stay truly memorable. After a busy day of sightseeing in town, it was lovely to be able to return to this little green oasis and spend the evening sitting on the terrace with a cold beer. We stayed longer than most (8 days) so we were able to have several days out and about and whole days relaxing in the very comfortable garden. As well as the seating directly outside of our apartment that was well shaded by the balcony above, there were cushioned loungers underneath a pergola covered with a grapevine (the perfect spot to recline with a book for the afternoon!) With local bakeries, supermarkets and restaurants all a short walk from the apartment, we saved a lot of money by making up packed lunches and cooking a couple of meals instead of going into town every day. If you are looking for a home from home with a fantastic garden, then look no further - THIS IS THE ONE!

Nothing - everything was perfect!

We had a wonderful stay at Apartments Gaura, and Ivana and Bozo are truly exceptional hosts. Bozo kindly came to collect us from the nearby parking they provide, an absolute godsend when you’re travelling with a baby and a million things..! We were then warmly welcomed by Ivana, who offered restaurant recommendations and suggestions for things to see and do in Dubrovnik. At a time when self check-in has become the norm and you rarely get to meet your hosts at all, this human touch made a great difference. The apartment itself is spacious and well set up, ideal for our holiday with our 10 month old. A beautiful terrace overlooking a well-kept garden became our favourite spot in the evenings, and the whole place has a calm, serene feel to it.
