Morfeo Charming Rooms & Relax

Morfeo is an ideal choice for families looking to explore the south-eastern coast of Sicily. The host was exceptionally welcoming and accessible, generously providing helpful local advice and practical amenities like beach umbrellas for day trips. Rooms are clean, quiet, and comfortable, and each morning features a healthy, authentic Italian breakfast. Kids enjoyed spending time in the well-maintained swimming pool. With a car, the location offers easy and quick access to a wide variety of beaches, ranging from popular options like Lido di Noto and San Lorenzo to stunning nature reserve coves.

The only minor drawback was that our room’s window faced the breakfast area, but we easily compensated by spending more time relaxing by the pool and out exploring.

Had a homely feel. A unique property where you could feel the love and attention of the owners. They say charming and relaxing, and we agree. Close to the centre of the town, so walking distance to some restaurants.

Avola is a good location to discover the southeast of Sicily if you have a car. However its not the most vibrant or historic town, well not in April at least, it's more of a place for locals than tourists, which might suit some and not others.
