Villa Alkinoos

The Villa is surrounded by old olive trees and was peaceful. The surroundings and outdoor terraces were beautiful and very spacious.The pool was fabulous and the olive trees and separate eating areas were lovely. The bedrooms were decent sizes with decent amount of storage.

The kitchen was a little tired and could have been slightly better stocked. Its a tiny thing but not having a bottle of water in the fridge on arrival was a shame. We were hot and parched and hadn't yet been to the supermarket. It is slightly further away than marked on booking.com and the walk back from Gaios can be a challenge in the heat or with children!

Great pool with beautifully landscaped olive trees. Large outside space with several seating and dining areas. Not far from Gaios so very convenient.

It would have been nice to be welcomed with a bottle of water on arrival. Excited to see the Illy coffee machine and bought pods but they weren’t compatible with the machine which seems to be an old version (none of the stores in Gaios sold these). We raised this with the cleaner and were told we would get a replacement but it didn’t materialise. As previous guests have mentioned, shower pressure is vey poor. Kitchen was quite tired looking with a broken cupboard. Lack of air con in third room made for uncomfortable sleeping.

No ac in 3rd bedroom, kitchen needs an update

What a find. Such a lovely spacious property, fabulous pool, choice of outdoor areas, friendly owner when she popped in. The grounds were filled with olive trees and flowers. When we didn’t fancy the 15 minute walk down to Gaios, it was only a minute or so to Paxos Resort. Loved the local taxi company Christos, Aglia was very entertaining. So pleased we took a taxi with her to Lakka beautiful resort. And thoroughly enjoyed hiring a boat and taking it to Antipaxos and around Paxos.

The third bedroom was rather small and had a fan rather than air conditioning.
