Villa Rei 3 Bedroom Villa with Pool

Alex, the host, met us at the ferry port and handed over the keys and organised for a taxi to take us from the port to the villa. On arrival at the villa, the 'handyman' was there to greet us, show us how the AC worked, washing machine etc. The property is spotless and it felt as though we were the first family to stay there (which obviously isn't the case). Alex had organised a small basket of essentials including tea, coffee, sugar, milk, crackers, olive oil etc as well as wine, water and fresh vegetables from the garden, in the fridge. It was a lovely welcome. There is a restaurant about 50m from the villa (the Thymarin) and the food was amazing and the hosts most generous (even sharing their birthday cake with us). Alex had thought of every requirement, from foil and clingfilm to laundry detergent - a real home from home. Both the inside and outside of the property were immaculate and we had everything we needed. The villa was exactly what we were looking for, far enough away from the centre to be relaxing, but near enough to walk. It is a 20 minute down-hill walk, but 25-28 minutes coming up hill (a little tougher). Equally there is a taxi service that can drop you back in 5 minutes. We will definitely stay again! Nice Villa !

Very poor host !!! Did not respond to our messages. Washing machine did not work we had four teenagers going off to an other destination and couldn’t not wash their clothes. Kitchen poorly stocked only for three people not 6 has stated ! No Internet !!four rolls of toilet paper for six people for a five night stay no bin liners . No welcome pack .
