Amazing experience with breathtaking views of the lake and mountains

The location with great views of the late, the coziness of the apartment and the host who was very kind

Loved this place! Beautiful apartment, it’s is so comfy and such a lovely place to park up for a holiday. The views from the balcony are truely spectacular. Owner is lovely, and runs a store under the apartment which is very helpful. The town is quaint and up on the hill, which means a bit of a walk to the nearest town, but so worth it for the quietness and the view. 10/10 would love to stay again.

Spectacular view!! Comfortable and really clean apartment. Very sweet and helpful hostess, who also has a little store where you can buy breakfast.

great view, very steep long walk up the mountain, but missing a few bits

the view was amazing and had a balcony to enjoy it on, and the kitchen was well equipped.

there wasn’t any hand soap and only a couple rolls of toilet paper (when there was four of us there for five days). and it would have been helpful to have some bits like salt, pepper and oil in the kitchen as it felt wasteful to buy them for just a five day trip.

third floor. No Pvt parking though free parking nearby. No washing machine or dryer. No basic hygienic facilities like soap. Extra charges for linen. Only one double bed with sinking feeling and the other bedroom having only bunk beds. So a bit uncomfortable for 2 couples travelling together. Anyway we managed.

Wonderful stay in Casa Sole

We have enjoyed our stay in casa Sole so much! The view from the apartment was breathtaking and we had everything we need in the large apartment! There are picturesque villages to visit, like Domaso, Menaggio, and by ferry to Bellagio and Varenna. Beautiful! It was very warm, so we spend a lot of time on the lago Como! Cleofe is such a friendly hostess and always easy to reach, when you need her. The little shop beneath was very handy, for fresh bread in the morning!

The lake can be reached by a beautiful walk down from the apartment in the mountain. Going up is tough, at least for me, so we were happy we had a car!

Beautiful location; peaceful and quiet and within reach of many towns, sights and attractions. The apartment is spacious, clean and perfectly equipped. A lovely welcoming place with beautiful surroundings.

Amazing view from the apartment

The location and the view from the apartment was amazing. All the rooms have balconies(should be watchful, if you have small kids like us) with a mountain drop & river view. Apartment is fully furnished and we didn't miss anything as we had taken the necessary items (coffee sugar, salt etc..) with us.

Como Lake under the Sun

The owner, very nice person, helpful and easy going. She has a nice shop in the Villa which is great to get some italian specific food to enjoy it with the whole familly while looking at the lake. The view is more thsn beautifull, morning and evening, just relax and listen of the village atmosphere.

Cleofe is a very friendly and welcoming host. We very much enjoyed our stay. The appartment was very clean and comfortable. The view from the balcony is indeed fantastic. All in all, we can only recommend a stay at Casa Sole.

Mooie locatie voor heerlijke uitstapjes aan het Como meer.

Super mooie locatie met prachtig uitzicht op het meer. Ideaal dat de eigenaresse een winkel onder het complex heeft waar je vers brood kunt halen. De eigenaresse is zeer vriendelijk en geeft goede tips voor je verblijf aan het Como meer. Het appartement is zeer groot.

Het appartement is bovenin gelegen waardoor je flink wat trappen moet nemen. Er was geen airco aanwezig (dat wisten we) maar zou wel fijn zijn omdat het best warm kan worden.

Tolle Wohnung oberhalb vom See

Die Besitzerin ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit, Sie hat auch den kleinen Laden unten im Haus. Wir würden sehr freundlich von Ihr empfangen. Bei Fragen war Sie immer bereit zu helfen. Die Wohnung war für uns sehr gut und der Ausblick ist einfach Toll. Es ist alles da was man braucht. Die Nähe der Wohnung zu den bekanntesten Zielen um den See ist auch ganz einfach, man ist überall schnell mit dem Auto hin gefahren. Vielen Dank für die nett Gastfreundschaft.

Tämä asunto on todella upealla paikalla! Erinomainen vuorimaisema ilahduttaa aamusta iltaan. Sijainti on hyvä, jos sinulla on auto. Oli kiva päästä rauhoittumaan pääkatujen hälinästä tänne vuorenrinteelle. Omistaja Cleofe oli todella yhtävällinen ja kertoi meille kaiken tarpeellisen, hän suostui myymään meille ruokatarpeita jopa kaupan aukioloajan ulkopuolella, jota arvostin kovasti. Ruoanlaittoa varten kaapeissa oli kaikki tarvittava astiasto ja hanavettä pystyi juomaan. Parvekkeella oli kivat ulkokalusteet ja jopa aurinkotuoli. Pieni kirkontorni soittaa aamu- ja iltamelodiana tutun joululaulun, joka ilmeisesti viikonloppuna vaihtuu toiseen lauluun. Kyläläiset pidetään ajan tasalla kirkonkellojen avulla, joka tuo kivan yhteisöllisen tunteen ja aavistuksen historiallisuudesta. Ihanaa kevään jatkoa sinulle, Cleofe!

Asunnossa olisi voinut olla hieman perustarpeita, kuten suolaa, pippuria, sokeria, teetä, kahvia ja wc-paperia, ainakin vähäsen. Onneksi olin lukenut arvostelut, joissa näistä ilmoitettiin ja siksi varasin niitä mukaani. Tyynyt Italiassa ovat keskimäärin kovempia, kuin kotimaassani, joten niihin pitää vaan tottua.
