Beautiful place - low expectations

The view was beautiful. The silence was refreshing just the sound of the mountains

Very far away of Unken center of Steinplatte area 25 km. Without car you couldn t go anywhere - just around the cabin... It was the poorest breakfast we ever eat in Austria or Germany... And absolutely the same every day - one boiled egg, one slice of ham one slice of cheese one thin slice of salami... butter ,a teaspoon of marmelade, honey and bread. Just black coffee and milk Picture of the breakfast is for 4 -four adult person... The " restaurant" was open from 5 pm to 6.30pm....with the last order at 6. I remained at the location while my family were skiing, and I had nothing to eat and found nowhere around to buy something for lunch... So I had to wait until 5 o' clock.... So - if you intend to stay at the locating - make some shopping before....

A great place.....

Very nice place that has a fantastic view of the mountains. The way up with the car is an adventure in itself... It is a very quiet and peaceful place and the room was clean and nice. The owner was very nice and accommodating. A perfect place if you want peace and quiet. There is a restaurant and serves simpler but good dishes and the breakfast was very good.

WIFI was not the best if its important for you.

The location was amazing, with clean and comfortable rooms. The road to the Gasthaus is an everyday adventure. The Schmuck family are very kind and flexible. (We arrived late in the evening couse traffic issues and had no problem to get the keys)

A most enjoyable and relaxing stay, looked after very well by the hosts.

Amazing location for a quiet stay in the Alps. Made very welcome and the traditional Austrian food in the restaurant is delicious.

The wifi is a little poor so getting information about activities and planning routes etc is not ideal.

Kedves személyzet, csodás szoba, minden tiszta, sőt: a csempe egy full- szállodában sem ragyogott úgy mint itt. Bármikor nyugodtan foglalok itt szobát! :) Cool!! Az étel meg fenéges volt!!! :)

Die Pension hat eine tolle Lage mit einem wunderschönen Blick auf das Tal und die Berge, Ruhe und Stille. Die Besitzerin ist sehr nett und das Frühstück ist absolut perfekt.

Mooi uitzicht

Mooi uitzicht vanaf het balkon. Kamer was basic, matrassen bevielen ons niet zo door de harde veren maar voor 2 nachten was het ok. Avondeten was heel lekker, van 17 tot 19u dus best tijdig aankomen.

- Alles is enkel cash af te handelen dus best voldoende meebrengen (we ondervonden dat op nog wel meer plaatsen in Oostenrijk). - Ontbijt miste voor ons fruit en yoghurt en bestond uit broodjes met beleg en gekookt ei. - er was niets voorhanden om de schoenen te drogen na een regendag en de verwarming stond blijkbaar nog niet aan op dat moment.

Ein schöner Kurzurlaub , erholsam mit frischer Bergluft, sehr ruhig ohne Durchgangsverkehr.

Das Frühstück ist gut und vor allem für jeden ausreichend. Die Mahlzeiten werden immer frisch zubereitet und wir haben Nach der Speisekarte ausgewählt. Es war sehr erholsam und wir hatten mit dem PKW nicht weit nach Bad Reichenhall in die Therme oder Salzburg in den Zoo.

Es fehlte ein Lift in den 2 Stock der das Gepäck transportiert. Als älteres Ehepaar war es ein bisschen mühsam die Koffer bis unter das Dach zu transportieren.

Sehr sauber, großes Zimmer, freundliche Gastgeberin, sehr gutes Essen, reichliches Frühstück

Etwas abgelegene Lage, sodass man immer ein Auto braucht um in die nächst größere Ortschaft zu gelangen, im Restaurant Bewirtung nur bis 19.30 Uhr, und nachmittags keine Möglichkeit Kaffee oder anderweitig was zu trinken, dies war etwas schade.
