We spent a good two days in the studio apartment which we found well thought out in lay-out and furniture and well equipped in the kitchen. The pictures give a good impression of the apartment. It is a short walk to the ferry stop for the ferry to Bellagio. We were here in high season, but the route Griante - Bellagio did not have queues (Bellagio - Varenna did though). The terrace escapes the morning sun and is perfect for a relaxed breakfast with a nice view of the hills.
It was yet another heat wave during our stay. The hostess provided a fan, which did help at night, but we had the corner apartment which unfortunately did heat up during the day, even with shutters closed, as it has little shadow. A sun umbrella could perhaps help to shade the apartment a bit more during these extremes weathers.

Very nice location, nice room with everything you need, and the owner is very sweet and helpfull. She has a lot of different recommendations and all the information you need.

The host couple are very nice and helpful. The room is big, clean with mountain views. It's located in a quiet residential area, but lots of nature sounds.
The location is a little further away from the main road on a hill, not suitable if you come by foot with lots of luggage. Close to a church, so you will hear church bells all the time.

The location is good.
There was an awful smell in the apartment. We were told that previous guests used to cook something with spices and garlic and there is nothing that can be done. So we had to keep the windows opened despite the cold and rain.
It was really horrible and very annoying:((
