I loved everything: the location(close to C110 bus station), the view, the host, the room, the breakfast, the hot water which came in immediately. We had every we needed and we loved it. The breakfast was an amazing addition since we had to leave at an early hour. Thank you!

Location Accommodations Welcoming Staff Clean

Very good location, bus stop in front of the house, supermarket and restaurant. Very good host, clean and they provide everything that you need. The breakfast at the balcony was great. Lenno is a great place if you want to enjoy the magic of Lake Como without too much crowd.

Great location, close to laundromat, nice cafes and bars were able to easily walk to these venues. Staff were super friendly and helpful.

The location is great, walking distance to Villa del Balbianello not very far from Villa Carlotta.

Our trip to La Tana Rooms in Lenno started off on the wrong foot and, unfortunately, never really recovered. Let’s start with the journey there: according to our research, the fastest way to reach the guesthouse from Como Lago was supposed to be a 38-minute trip, possibly by ferry and train. But once we arrived at Como Lago station after a journey involving train transfers from the airport, we were met with an enormous queue and no viable ferry option. This left us with only one alternative: the C110 bus, which runs once every hour. We were warned that once the tickets were purchased, there would be no refunds, even if we couldn’t board. After buying some groceries, we lined up at the bus stop 45 minutes early, which turned out to be a wise decision. The queue kept growing, and the bus—when it finally arrived—was dangerously overcrowded. People were packed in tightly, some panicking, and one woman even fainted. The driver drove recklessly, creating a nerve-wracking ride through tight streets. We witnessed at least four traffic accidents along the route, and the ride felt more like a carnival attraction than public transportation. After what felt like a survival course, we finally reached the guesthouse. A note instructed us to call upon arrival, and we were greeted by a friendly woman who showed us to our room on the ground floor, called “Carlotta.” The room itself was painted red behind the bed, with white walls elsewhere. While the welcome was warm, the problems became obvious as soon as the door closed. The biggest issue: a complete lack of privacy. The room was directly next to the reception area, and we could hear everything and be heard in return. After a nine-hour journey, starting at 4 a.m., we desperately needed rest, but it was impossible. We even considered flying home early, and eventually booked an earlier return. To make things worse, there were few options for food nearby.
