Spectacular view from our window, garden was very well kept and had rental bikes. Free drop off at Kawaguchiko station as well.
Pillows were a bit too thin but i think it’s just standard as we were sleeping on tatami and futons.

Great place, especially due to the owners, who went extra-extra mile to help me out in a difficult situation. They did not have to, but they did and they saved my trip. Even for the Japanese standards, they are really welcoming, helpful and friendly.
All else was fantastic as well. Place is comfortable, rules are clear, baths are working, Fuji view is nice, breakfast was big and tasty. Would definitely stay once more.

Amazing place to stay. Easy bike ride or walk along the river to get into town/train station. Would definitely stay here again.

Location is the biggest win. You can walk to Lake Kawaguchi, nearby parks, and convenience stores easily. If you want to explore the area on foot, this place is hard to beat.
The onsen (hot tub) is separate for men and women. It’s very small, but clean and genuinely relaxing. No luxury here, but it does the job well. There’s also a large Japanese-style dining hall, and they offer free coffee and Japanese tea, which is a nice touch.
The futon is uncomfortable. Because it’s on tatami, it shifts when you move.
Privacy is almost nonexistent. The walls have poor insulation, when people in the next room talk, you hear them clearly.
The staff are polite but cold. They’re respectful, but don’t expect friendliness, warmth, or smiles. Service feels mechanical.
