Stopover in Sisteron

The suite is very nice and at an affordable price. Excellent location. There is a small garage which can be used minding the reception opening times. We could also use a normal plug to recharge our hybrid. Very helpful staff.

Great hotel but for the stairs !

This is a great hotel, but unfortunately has difficult stairs to the rooms which are a good size. Good staff, good breakfast. Handy to the citadel.

Location is a little tricky if one arrives by train and in the rain, okay for cars tho. There is no elevator and tricky stairs to negotiate.

Sisteron - a great little stop over

A dear little hotel at the base of the Citadel - the staff were lovely - the breakfast good- and the fan such a great idea.

The bed was just a bit small for us but comfy all the same

Disappointing

Location

No staff on desk at check in, luke warm shower, staff smoking at foyer entrance, corridors full of bed linen at 9am making you feel like you need to check out asap. It needs a serious change in management attitude.

Don’t hesitate to stay there - we will be back !

A family run hotel with extremely helpful and solution finding staff. Sebastien at the reception is going the extra step in order to make sure that all is running smoothly. Renovated, very clean and comfortable rooms, right in the center of Sisteron at the foot of the Citadelle.

It would be much better if the hotel had air conditioning

The location is good, close to both citadel and town centre. All the staff are very friendly. We got some useful recommendations, f.e. L’Oppidum restaurant next door from the hotel

No air conditioning which is the main reason why I lowered the rating. It becomes unbearable to sleep or be in the room even with windows wide open. We stayed for 3 nights and expected the towels to be changed, so put them outside our room, but nothing happened, so we had to use our face towels as bath ones.

The hotel and the town exceeded our expectations. We should have stopped here before.

Very welcoming and helpful gentleman manning reception and dealing with breakfast. Parking under the hotel. Plus parking area outside the hotel, good availability (in May at least). Centrally positioned, very convenient. Not far from the superb Citadelle. Various restaurants close-by.

Excellent position in the town.

The hotel is in the centre of town and it is easy to walk to bars and restaurants. We also we at the bottom of the hill so we could walk to the citadel. Some facilities of a four star hotel in a two star.

Nice family run hotel, but don’t park here!

location excellent for the Citadel and seeing the old town. Also good access to restaurants.

The on site parking! We pre booked but it is very narrow, below ground and almost impossible for a longish medium sized car to manoeuvre. If cleared of rubbish it would be less difficult but still unpleasant.

The stay was OK

Parking, helpful staff, good location, good bed, good plumbing.

No drawers in the bedroom. Not enough power points. No baguette or any other white bread for breakfast.

A great place to stay for a typical experience in a French two star hotel at the top of it category.

Small establishment, very clean, modern bath with huge window, and comfortable beds. small room, but nicely and newly decorated. Garage for our bicycles (traveling by bike). Attractive breakfast room with copious breakfast, even fresh fruit cup.

Location only

The room is the size of a shoe box, you could barely walk around the bed, their photographs doesn't show that. There were beard hairs in the bathroom sink from the previous user.

Right in the town center

Position just near the center, cheap garage for the motorbike. we were ther on the 14th of July and from our windows we had a stunning view of the fireworks.

There was no lift (room at 2nd floor), the WiFi was not working, although they tried (unsuccessfully) to get the problem fixed.

Lovely hotel in the center of Sisteron.

Lovely little hotel, located in the center of Sisteron. The Citadel is within walking distance, as is the pedestrian street, where you will find various stores and restaurants. The owners were ever so welcoming, taking time to answer my questions and providing me with a map of the town. Despite their garage undergoing repairs, they allowed me to park my motorcycle there. It was so quiet at night, perfect for a good night's sleep. Breakfast was very nice.
