Really lovely staff made us feel very welcome. The restaurant menu is limited but the Jingisukan (Genghis Khan) is excellent. Cabins were well insulated and kept warm in winter. A few minutes drive from Hoshino Tomamu ski resort. Whilst the facilities are old, they are well maintained.
Be aware there are limited facilities nearby to this hotel. Very thin futon mattresses. Shared laundry facilities (washer/dryer) didn't work very well.

We booked 4 rooms : three rooms are on different floor, the rooms has loft where you have to climb up the stairs and is not suitable for elderly; but the worse is the room for 2 is not on the main building (which was not stated on the booking details), it's on a different building across the road. According to the 2 who lived there, the condition is bad.
