Constance Ephelia

Ephelia is the nature resort encompasing the full peninsula with 4 or more beaches and hiking trails longer than 1 hr. There was excellent kids corner for my 2 year old son, tennis and divibg lessons for my 10 year old daughter. So, it was perfect.

The staff, the food, the location, the room, everything was clean and staff was very friendly.

Absolutely amazing property — huge, beautifully maintained, and packed with facilities. From the wide selection of restaurants and activities to the delicious breakfast spread with endless options, everything was exceptional. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with numerous pools, two private beaches, and caring, attentive staff all adding to the overall experience. Truly a fantastic place to relax and enjoy your holiday.

We booked Constance Ephelia for our honeymoon, expecting the 5-star luxury shown on the website. Sadly, the reality is very far from that. Once you arrive, the experience feels more like a 3-4 star resort. The hotel is huge, maybe too big to manage properly. It has two beaches, North and South, but in truth only the North beach is usable. The South side is always extremely windy and not good for swimming. Even on the North side, the setup is disappointing — sunbeds are lined up and attached together, leaving you literally shoulder-to-shoulder with other guests. Staff don’t really care about cleaning or arranging them to make the beach experience more appealing. The food is another major letdown. For a hotel marketed as 5-star, the quality is mediocre. Across the restaurants the dishes are average, nothing memorable. Cyann, the supposed fine dining restaurant, was the biggest disappointment — nonsense dishes, poorly executed, and completely overpriced. A simple bottle of San Pellegrino water costs €9.55, which feels like a scam. The amenities are dated and do not meet 5-star standards. The whole place is in need of a serious refresh. Service is inconsistent — some staff are attentive, but others are uninterested or simply not trained to a luxury level. For our honeymoon, we thought we would get something special, but all we received was a room upgrade and a bottle of Prosecco. That’s it. Hardly the romantic retreat we were expecting. On top of that, I chose not to leave a deposit and instead pay directly each time to better control the final bill. Despite this, I was charged incorrectly on two invoices, and the staff made us wait while they “investigated” the mistake. Very unprofessional. A true 5-star hotel should respect the payment method agreed in advance and trust their guests. Overall, Ephelia is advertised as a luxury 5-star resort, but what you actually get is far below that promise.
