Yellow House

Location was picture perfect, beautiful surroundings, peaceful and so quiet. We travelled on motorcycles, and the owner went out of her way to move her car so we could safely park them in her garage, although to be honest we would have been happy to leave outside the property, as it is tucked away nicely off any main road. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable, combined with the peaceful surroundings a fab nights sleep was had. A lovely pub five minutes walk away, serving a fab menu for evening meal. Breakfast was delicious, really good quality, superbly cooked.

Ideal location for our visit. We loved that it was quiet and rural and in very beautiful surroundings. Breakfast choices were good. Scrambled eggs and smoked salmon on our 2nd morning were excellent.

Pillows were uncomfortable and the bathroom was very tight for space.

Lovely traditional farmhouse with great views, spacious and comfortable accommodation. Generous cooked breakfast. Warm welcome.

breakfast was simple but excellent. freshly home cooked, and we could choose different things. view was amazing. you look out over a little lake, and a pasture with sheep and horses. perfect location to visit woodlands and/or Hadrian Wall. Very good price!!!

maybe a little more choice over breakfast, for example cheese to go with the toast, instead of just the jams (although the jams were really good, and also homecooked)
