Lovely tranquil location. Perfectly laid out space with all you need. Perfect place to switch off, connect with nature and reset. Close by Bellingham is a great place to walk to with nice pubs and lunch spots. Northumberland sights easily accessible. Brian is an excellent host.

The location was stunning, right out in the sticks which was exactly what we wanted. It was lovely to meet Bryan and his 3 lovely doggos whilst we were there, he couldn't have been more helpful and friendly, really highly recommended for this reason alone. The hut was small but really cosy, plenty of space for 2 adults who just want some peace and quiet to relax and reconnect, with every facility you would need for a short stay (cool box, cosy fire which was fun to look after, cooking utensils, cups, plates etc). We went to the local pub The Gun for a meal and it was lovely, with great views.

I really enjoyed that there were farm animals like horses, sheep’s, cows and donkeys around
It is difficult to heat up the room. There was a fire place to heat up the room, but me or my partner didn’t feel confident starting a fire inside

The views were amazing especially sun set, the hut was clean and tidy. Brian was amazing taking time out of his busy day to talk to us. So quiet and peaceful and some amazing walks to explore. Love that you can hire bikes to explore more. Everything you need to be off grid and enjoy time away from busy lives but still only a 5 min drive from Bellingham Town with all shops you could need.

Great location, amazing views , the village of Bellingham is about 3 mile drive away , or a walk across the fields(can be tricky to navigate so make sure you have a o/s maps downloaded , the brewery is a must with live music on Saturdays and take away trucks, its located at the start of the Harshaw Lynn waterfall walk.
Brian the owner was fantastic he would pop around every morning asking if we need anything and to give new ice packs for the cool box.
The Hut is small but has everything you need and phone charging points, shower , cassett toilet .
There's a outside fire pit which is nice for cold evenings, fantastic gardens and seating .

The steps into the hut are high if you have mobility issues.

We loved the veil and the donkeys. The bathroom was good, hot water great. Being left to our own devices.
Real glass wine glasses would be better.

A perfect location, in the middle of nowhere. Completely off grid, very tranquil and a perfect getting away from it all location
That's it was very cloudy and we couldn't see the milkyway!!

When they say 'off grid' It is off grid. You are surrounded by fields in-between two farm houses ,a long single lane and the scenery is amazing.
So peaceful. No light polution.
The hut had a comfy bed, a toilet I hadn't experienced before, a little kitchenette, just a cute little hut.
There is a folder inside with all the info you need, how to work everything and where local shops are if needed.
Brian introduced himself to me on arrival, was helpful to check the gas was on for showers etc.
No fridge but a cool box was provided with the freezer packs to keep items cool in which I thought was a nice touch.
I'd more than happily stay here again.
Half hour drive to Hadrians Wall Sycamore gap.
Not a complaint but just to inform people there are no sockets to charge items. I used the USB in the TV to charge my phone. This did not impact my stay.

Wonderfully cosy and well equipped. The location was lovely and peaceful and the views were stunning. Brian is a lovely man and was on hand nearby when we needed ice packs, yet he also took care to leave us alone to relax and enjoy our stay.

The hut is small and cosy it was a great place for us to stay while exploring Northumberland.
The wood burner keeps the hut well heated we only used about 3 logs a night .
Apart from the wind you don't hear much noise at all .
The dark sky you seen millions of stars great for any astro photographer .
One thing I would recommend is eye masks for sleeping as when the sun comes up the hut gets well lite .

Glorious location and easy to find; good instructions.
Excellent hospitable service from Brian; so helpful & conscientious.
Loved the ease of it; turn up, unpack and get going. Excellently convenient for Hadrian’s Wall exploring.
Updated bedding, linen & towels; duvet & pillows would make it significantly more comfortable.
Could have better kitchen equipment & better quality.
Could have been cleaner. Bit grimy.

Great location. Amazing views. Loved the wood burning stove. Lovely welcome from Brian and the dogs.
Had to bring own duvet and towels despite the information on the property saying differently. Maybe this happens when you only stay for one night?
Hut needs a little tlc and a more thorough clean particularly in the bathroom.

Beautiful location. A lovely welcome from the owner who popped down on his quad bike to greet us and explain how things worked etc. it does have everything you need if you’re used to camping/ glamping.
The shower wasn’t great as you could only use it for a few minutes due to limited hot water. Fine if you just needed a quick wash though.
It wasn’t as clean as we’d have liked. There were hairs on the floor under the bed in the space we put our bags. Some of the plates and pans weren’t washed very well.

The views were great, and the accommodation appeared to have everything you might need.
The description stated that towels and bedding would be provided. I was told after booking that they would not be. When I arrived there was a really strong smell of bacon despite the window being open. There were dog hairs all over the rug, hair in the corners of the room, the bottom of the shower was dirty and had hair in it, and the toilet and sink were dirty. I did not stay.

Something different in a beautiful part of Northumberland. Peace and tranquillity with only the noise of the sheep.

Location was perfect. The hut setting in a small garden was great. The hut itself was cosy and adequate for what we needed
The only downside was the mattress, which was so springy and uncomfortable.

Everything you could need for an off grid stay in a stunning location 😊
The only tiny thing that would have made it better would be separate fenced off garden bits for each hut so dogs could be let off lead without worrying they’d wander over to the other hut or onto the road. But otherwise nothing!

Stunning location with spectacular views for star gazing and watching the wildlife on your doorstep. I saw everything from sheep, horses, hares, rabbits and even a barn owl. Will definitely be going back later in the year.

Absolutely loved our short stay in Rosie. She was so warm and toasty with the log burner even though it was so cold outside. All mod cons in perfect working order and bed so comfortable we didn't want to get up! Brian, the owner was very helpful and nothing a bother for him. Communication was spot on. Lots of great walks in the area and would love to return soon.
No negatives from us thank you
