Wenn man die abenteuerliche Anfahrt auf Sandpiste geschafft hat, ist man in der absoluten Ruhe. Nachts hört man nur Grillengezirpe und manchmal Hundegebell. Wir haben sehr gut geschlafen! Das von der Mutter des Besitzers liebevoll zubereitete Essen ist ausgezeichnet und der Empfang war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Das vom Hauptgebäude etwa einen zehnminütigen Fussmarsch entfernte Appartement war leider ein wenig heruntergekommen und ungepflegt, obwohl es geräumig ist und eigentlich alles vorhanden wäre. Das ist wirklich schade, denn vor allem der Garten, von dem man einen wunderschönen Sonnenuntergang sehen kann, könnte eine wahre Wohlfühloase sein, gleicht aber momentan eher einer Baustelle.

The host was super friendly and helpful, communication was really good. They also prepared a great breakfast which we really enjoyed. Host had studied in The Netherlands, he was super helpful and sweet. It was a strange experience.

Place is very remote, you need to drive almost 5km over a sand road / dunes.. With a sportscar that is not fun, and always tricky, hoping nothing brakes. Then arriving, surrealistic environment.. no lights, nothing to see, dogs barking (not know that they are tied. House is spookie. Interior is super basic, its clean. Next morning you see a strange place. Like everything is there in the garden, but it seems nothing has been touched for years.. like it was abandoned. Next morning you hear how climate change impacted these people.. untill 7 years ago they had a lake in front of the farmhouse, now it is desert.
