The hosts were most accommodating and the property had enormous charm and character. Our room was serviced each day and the bathroom had a large shower and bath with lovely hot water after a day exploring the area. Breakfast was excellent, using locally sourced sausages and eggs etc. The property is right in the heart of town with pubs all around, I would particularly recommend the Whitehall pub across the road for your evening meals and if not there's a chippy opposite there.
Our room had a couple of high-up cobwebs, but it rather added to the character I thought and didn't bother us at all.
Parking might be a bit of an issue due to the location, though we were lucky enough to be able to use the rear of the property. We really enjoyed our stay though.

Hosts, character of the property, exceptional food and having breakfast at a lovely dining table. The beds were extremely comfortable. Excellent value for money.
Nothing really, the overall experience was excellent and so nice to stay in a place that wasn’t a chain hotel, with self service food.
