Hotel Vesiroos

Straight access from the double room to the sunny pool area with sunbeds and pool with heated water. Decent breakfast. Short walk to the old town center and the canal. Quiet neighbourhood. AC. Good value for the money.

Soundproofing was not the best. Bit longer walk to the beach (around 1 km), but this was ok.

Breakfast is very basic, but you wont stay hungry anyway

Small cozy hotel. Room looked a little bit small, but was OK. Room was very warm, had to open window. Not sure why it was so warm, radiator was turned pretty low. Online check-in, so you can arrive when you want. Room number and door code was sent by e-mail in advance. In the room there was a smart card, so later you were able to use it, instead of the code. Room interior looked new or recently renovated. Plenty of shelves for your stuff. Plenty of power sockets, never seen so many in a hotel room. In the room there was air conditioner, refrigerator, water kettle. Nice outside view, window was toward the outdoor pool. Towel rack in bathroom was heated. Heated floor in the bathroom. There was a rubber brush for drying bathroom floor. "Do Not Disturb" door sign was made out of leather or similar material. WIFI was good. Breakfast was OK. Good location, peaceful neighbourhood, 15 minute walk from bus station, 1 minute walk to Valli Park, 15 minute walk to supermarket. Price/quality ratio - at discount price was good.

Room door had very bad sound insulation. There was not much movement in the hall, but if something moved in the hall then you heard everything. (Walls seemed to have good sound insulation, because you did not hear anything from neighbouring rooms). Window was facing outdoor pool, so in summer may be problem with privacy and sounds from pool area. In bathroom, shower corner had half wall, so after taking a shower whole floor was wet. It would have been better if there would be a sliding door to cover the whole shower corner. Breakfast at 8.00-10.00 o'clock. For weekend it would have been better until 11.00 o'clock. Room was very warm, although radiator was barely warm. It was not possible to turn down the heated floor or towel rack in bathroom. There was a button under the sink, but it was not possible to turn it. In bathroom toilet paper holder was extremely basic. There was no holder/rack for extra toilet paper, it was just put on the toilet bowl water tank. In breakfast area there was (only one) home coffee machine, not commercial one, so very easily there was a line for coffee/hot water. No cacao or any other options for hot drink besides coffee/tea.

Walls are not soundproof and you can hear noise from the next apartment
