Villa Ammende Restaurant and Hotel

All good

We chose the hotel because of its ambiance and it fully met our expectations. The room was spotless and spacious, with comfy bed and pillows. Although there is no elevator in this historic building, it was not a problem for us. There is also a very nice restaurant in the hotel, where also the breakfast is served - we had an excellent breakfast there.

The door and walls are not very soundproof, so you may hear your neighbors, but it's an old villa and something one should expect:)

I liked breakfast, it is so comfortable while served a t a table.

When we arrived, we were taken to the next house (I did not realize that I should mention "main building" in my booking, as I had no idea that there is another one, meant for people with pets...), where our room was freezing cold, despite the welcoming speech that they were SO MUCH waiting for us... No carpet on the floor, so feet were freezing and after I made a suggestion that rooms could have some coziness, I was told that in this room pets are also allowed, so no carpets. I did not have any option to express my feeling on that during the booking, otherwise I would have not stayed there. There is no-one at breakfast to explain that you can only order warm food from the a´la carte menu. When you finally figure it out, your order takes so much time that you just leave :(
