Château d'Avanton is a picturesque castle in a beautiful village. With a fantastic breakfast, swimming pool, table tennis, and board games. The village has a local baker, butcher and a shop. Most importantly Viviene is an amazing host who looked after us so well.

Magnifique cadre et belle chambre et SDE. Décor d’époque. Notre hôte était charmante et nous a fait profiter d’un excellent petit déjeuner dans une agréable salle à manger également d’époque concernant le mobilier et la décoration. Séjour au calme tout en étant non loin du futuroscope et de la salle de concert d’Arena. Beaucoup d’indications données par notre hôte pour nous restaurer, boire un verre et marché à proximité. Ce qui est fort appréciable. Nous occupions la suite Marie- Antoinette. C'est un superbe château rénové avec passion.

Beautiful chateau, lovely gardens, situated in a quiet area. Lovely silence at night.
Seems a bit run down, equipment quite basic, covid restrictions perhaps contributed somewhat to the lack of charm. No restaurant available but owner could recommend a good one nearby. Breakfast passable
