Great location
We stayed here a number of times a decade ago but little has changed.
Kitchen and bathroom looking a bit tired now.We have always made our own lunch and evening meal here but found washing up awkward as there is no plug for the sink I know it's a niggle and we usually carry a temporary plug but forgot it this time.

The character , and the host was very helpful and friendly
Bathroom was separate from the bedroom down some steps and across the hall.

It was just beautiful a step back in time we loved it 🥰
No air con the fan didn’t help much as temperatures had hit 40 degrees

Beautiful chateau, lovely gardens, situated in a quiet area. Lovely silence at night.
Seems a bit run down, equipment quite basic, covid restrictions perhaps contributed somewhat to the lack of charm.
No restaurant available but owner could recommend a good one nearby. Breakfast passable
$$$$
