The room was excellent. It was clean, with great views and we both loved the high ceilings. Breakfast was served in a lovely setting in the grounds of the hotel over looking the seafront and harbour. A great way to start your day.
The staff could not be any more helpful. Thank you for a memorable stay.
The walk up the hill to get to the hotel. But there was nothing within the hotel that wasnt to full standard.

Loved the property - Gorgeous and picturesque place with wonderful views. And the people were all really nice.
Re the room: I would have preferred another room, one with a view, bit was put in one right next to the elevator and above the entrance and reception and down the hall from which meant I always heard people. However the room was completely quiet by 9 (They have specific tules about being quiet after 9, which I liked) - Oddly they put me in a room for physically challenged people, but now having seen it I would say if you are in a wheelchair or have mobility issues, this place is wonderfully accommodating!
Would have preferred not to be over the reception and entrance (but partly because I stayed in my room a lot catching up on weeks of no sleep!)

The hotel is beautiful. The beds are exceptionally comfortable and the rooms are clean and well appointed. The breakfast is a great value with several options and fresh fruit, pastries and coffee choices. The staff was welcoming and helpful.
