The breakfast was excellent, especially for vegetarians, with a good variety of options to satisfy your morning appetite. The rooms were clean and spacious, though they lacked proper wardrobes.

It was a basic room but roomy , clean , the bed was comfortable and loved the pillows ! A continental breakfast was included which was good . The staff were helpful and friendly ! We stayed one night as a stopover on our journey back to catch the ferry at Santander and it was perfect ! We found a fab restaurant called ‘La Terrace de la Vega’ which is turn right outside the Hostal and it’s a 8 min walk, although we went through the park which is behind the hostel ‘Jardin de la Vega ‘which was lovely a bit longer walk about 12 mins but walked back the broad walk road route as it was dark ! Also managed to park outside the hostel which is free !
