Afroditi Hotel

Afroditi is a lovely family run hotel. It is located right opposite the beach about a 15 min walk from the ferry. It's the perfect base, we hired a car and explored other parts of the island most days. The sea facing rooms on the first floor are the best if you have a choice. The rooms are small but we didn't spend much time in them so it didn't bother us. We had a little balcony with a drying rack which came in handy. There are beach towels, but you need to ask for them. The staff is super friendly. We really enjoyed our stay here.

The breakfast is very basic, adding fresh fruit, tomato and cucumber would be a nice addition instead of the cake and biscuits which nobody seemed to eat much of. Eggs were boiled blue so if you like soft eggs let them know, they happily did it for us.

A love family run hotel - quiet and comfortable. Very helpful owners and staff. Good breakfast; taken on the verandah with sea views. Very close to the beach and short walk to downtown and the ferry port.

The hotel is a small family-run business in a perfect location near to Kamares beach, which is peaceful but less than ten minutes walk to the port and all the restaurants. The lady who did the cleaning was super friendly and smiley and she did a wonderful job keeping the place immaculate. The view from our balcony was superb.

The breakfast was decent and I'm probably being overly-picky, but personally I'd have appreciated stronger coffee, and some variety of fresh fruits and pastries instead of the dry cake that was served every day. We would also have liked some extra pillows, but I'm sure they could have been supplied if we had asked. We also found out at the end of our seven night stay that beach towels were available, so we should have asked about that at the start.
