Stunning apartment looking out at the bay. Huge bathroom with a great shower. Had a lovely nights sleep in a large bed. Great aircon, fridge and Nespresso machine. The balcony was enormous and could really benefit from some sunbeds. The lovely couple who own the place also run the best cafe/bar in the village.

Super friendly hosts and an excellent room. I travelled by myself and this couldn’t have been better. Very very clean, cleaning service every day, perfect aircon and good location. Hosts have a restaurant down on the marina which is also very good - I ate there a couple of times and the food was excellent.

This is really nitpicking because overall this place is a 10/10 but the only thing was replacing the water every day.

Our apartment was modern, well appointed and extremely clean. The bathroom felt very luxurious and was very spacious as was our balcony which commanded amazing views over the port of Kamares. Although equipped with a refrigerator and coffee making machine the apartment didn't have any other crockery or cutlery which is a must for us as we like to make our own breakfast in the morning. However a quick word with the owner and everything we required was immediately provided which was very much appreciated. The apartments are in a quiet area but only five minutes walk down hill to the beach and the numerous excellent bars and restaurants which Kamares has to offer.

All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Sunlight apartments. If I had to recount anything negative it would be the last twenty metres of the walk to our room. The apartments, like many others, are built into the hillside so the last twenty metres up to our room was fairly steep and consequently might be a challenge if you have mobility issues but I am being really picky there as it wasn't that bad really.

The apartment was very clean, the aircon worked so well, and the beds were super comfortable. The shower and bathroom were also great. The balcony was spacious for a table and chairs and had a clothes drying rack. The TV and Internet worked great too with some english channels.

Let me start by saying it is not my intention to turn anyone off staying here as the apartments are really clean and comfortable. Bookings are not managed properly or are being oversold as something that is not available by the owners. Our issue is that we did not get what we paid for. We paid almost 900 euros for 4 nights because of the deluxe seaview view. We, however, could have had a room with the same lovely interior but for half the price, but we chose the deluxe for the beautiful unobstructed sea view instead. When we arrived, we were taken to an apartment whose only view was a carpark, a dumpster, and a wall. I flatly refused to take it as this is not what we paid for. We were moved up a floor where we had a partial sea view with no chance of a further change. We felt ripped off, but we chose to get on with our holiday and not let it ruin our stay. The owners are coming back and forward from the restaurant they own and run in the port to the apartment for customer check-ins. Maybe because the owners are so busy that what people booked and paid for is not really being looked at or deluxe seaviews are just being oversold by the owners and do not exist. I questioned the photos of what we booked compared to what we got directly to the owner, and he said they've only 2 to 3 apartments with that view. He said they needed to update the photos to reflect accurately. So the photos on booking.com unfortunately do not accurately reflect what you get. Yes, the rooms are lovely and you will be very comfortable in them but My advice to travellers is to book the cheapest room and it will be absolutely lovely because there is no guarantee you'll get the view.
