I scored 10/10 without hesitation. I wish I could share all my feelings regarding this place , but I'll try in one sentence: Perfectly shaded spotlessly clean greek oasis that offers a comfortable and peaceful escape for reading , complete with a lovely host family and an unbeatable location just steps away from the sea and restaurants.

The location is absolutely idyllic. I counted my steps to the water one day and it was 35 in total! Multiple swims a day was such a treat. The room was very clean and comfortable, and Evi is so kind, generous, and accomodating. She booked taxis both ways when I asked for help with this, which made the transfer to the port so easy. The room was made up each day, and I received a bottle of local olive oil as a gift on check out, which was so lovely and unexpected. Evi and her family live next to you, but you still feel you have total privacy. We chose Vathi for our base as we wanted to slow down and relax, and it was perfect for this. Highly recommend staying here. I would very gladly return and did not want to to leave.

Rooms are very small but that is clear in the description. Marvellous value though for the price and location.

One of the most amazing properties I’ve ever stayed in. Literally above the sea - can see the sea from laying in bed. Lovely host, very clean, basic but exactly what you need.
