The staff was so incredibly friendly and accommodating. The happy hour and breakfast was so convenient and so was the location. I highly recommend this to any international traveler.

This beautiful hotel hit all the high notes, it’s a stunning building and brilliantly situated, located close to the station and all the shops with the harbour 10 minutes walk away. Our room had a beautiful balcony and all the facilities you’d expect from a hotel. Fresh towels daily and a little fridge to store our drinks as well as a hairdryer and TV and tea/coffee making facilities. You’ll find a safe and we had a glass bottle of water left in our room every day. There’s a beautiful old left that had been lovingly restored and bought a charm to the whole hotel. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful and nothing was too much trouble for the excellent staff who greeted you daily with a smile and every evening they held a wine tasting from 6.30-8.30 free of charge. A special mention to Johan, Marie and Cordelia who gave us helpful information and directions to local places of interest and who were in hand to make bookings, they were incredible ☺️

I have to say there wasn’t anything my husband and I disliked about the Hotel, if I was being picky I could have done with a little more wardrobe space but in the grand scheme that really didn’t matter at all.

Good location near the rail station and a few blocks back from the hub-bub of the main seafront excesses. Excellent Front of House staff. Free wine-tasting each evening was a bonus - a lovely touch..

The staff are amazing

The room is located in an old building and has a strong unpleasant odor due to high humidity levels and poor ventilation, creating a damp and uncomfortable environment.
