Staff were very welcoming, secure parking included, bed was comfortable. Close to city centre

Traffic noise was loud and constant, they have secondary glazing stuck on inside of frames but it doesn’t work when the original windows are jammed open but the windows needed to be open because the room was hot otherwise and there’s no A/C there’s also no fridge. Breakfast is a basic continental no fry up apparently they can’t cook because it’s listed and they’re not allowed extractors.

Location was good. Value for money.

Only thing which disappointed us. We were looking forward to a good English breakfast after two weeks in France. Only to find they only do European breakfast. Still good but when you look forward to an English breakfast nothing else will do.

We had a wonderful stay. The only disappointment for my husband was that there was no cooked breakfast, it is continental only. The hotel is in the perfect location with a 10 minute walk into the town centre.

Breakfast was very minimal but nice to be included in the room rate. Loved the building itself, very old and classy. And what really hit it off for me was the shower, loved it.

My only criticism was there was a big dip in our mattress which made it slightly uncomfortable. I was concerned that my fat arse caused it but then remembered it was there to begin with lol. We only stayed one night so in the end I got use to the dip although probably not good for the spine.
