Reception staff gave us an upgrade to a lovely room, thank you!. Very central as just across the road from the main train station. Lots of nice cafes and restaurants in the area. Felt safe walking around in the evening. Breakfast was a good variety of cereal, fruit, cheese, breads and yoghurt. £184 for a double room in June seemed about right as Rome can be expensive for accommodation.
Couldn't get the air con in our room to work very well and it was noisy,. Even with help from staff the room still felt too warm (but it was 33 degrees outside!)
