The staff was very nice. The location is a popular hotel location for foreign tourists, easy to reach from Valletta. The room was clean and had all the necessary amenities, The place has a vibe of a youth hostel. There are many shops and restaurants nearby.
There was a weird smell in the room and opening the window didn't help. There was no way to let some fresh air enter the room. When it comes to the price, it was okay, however I slept in better places for less money during my stay. Overall it was good but I wouldn't stay again.

Fantastic location, very close to everything. The room was clean and fully equipped with water boiler, toaster, fridge and kitchen sink. They even gave us a complimentary bottle of wine. I had to get up very early to run the Malta Marathon, and as promised in advance, the night reception made me an amazing cup of coffee at 4 AM in the morning - for my wife also. Free of charge. If I will run the Malta Marathon again, I'll be back for sure.
The bed could have been a bit better. (But keep in mind my 9 out of 10 ranking here). The bathroom door is a bit strange, because its tinted glass. Basically you can see shadow of everything the person is doing in there. I would recommend this nice hotel to put some knobs / nails on door or wall for jackets and stuff - going to a limited closet and hangers on other side of room is not optimal. These are all minor things. The breakfast (at least on our day) was not very good or worth the money. But everything else was.
