None of the satellite channels were available and no one could tell me why not. There was no milk and no teaspoons in the rooms It wasn't really a hotel room. It had a kitchen / diningroom / lounge.....a self contained unit for self catering, which I didn't enjoy. It was miles away and really difficult with all the luggage we had.

Lovely hotel stay in Kenmare!

Very classy and comfortable hotel and Una was very friendly at the front desk. We had the studio apartment which was very tastefully decorated and comfortable with a living room, dining area and a small kitchenette. The breakfast area was lovely and had a generous buffet bar and the ability to order additional items from the menu. Food was delicious! Very short walk into town, excellent location!

The kitchenette was very tiny and could have been more inviting. It had a small frig and microwave.

Highly recommend this hotel

Great location (there is a pathway that makes it easy to walk to town). Plus you are right on the entrance to part of the Ring of Kerry. Very nicely appointed hotel and the staff was friendly and extremely helpful. It is locally owned so Una, the proprietor takes great care to provide you with what you need, including advice about sightseeing. The breakfast was delicious - I had eggs and smoked salmon made to order (other menu items available) and in addition there is a generous buffet with fruit, yogurt, breads, etc available. Coffee and tea is delivered to your room at no extra charge (LOVED THIS!). Plus the restaurant is nice for dinner - good food and service. I would highly recommend this hotel.

So many hotels in Ireland don’t have air conditioning and that took some getting used to (we are Americans) but the hotel provided a fan which helped us stay cool at night.

Really lovely relaxing stay at a great hotel.

Staff were consistently friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to try to make our stay more comfortable. My friend wanted a twin room, we had been in a double and they switched rooms as soon as they could. I would recommend Brook Lane and will definitely stay there again.

Very little to speak of on the negative. I did have some difficulty figuring out the shower settings in the bathroom. That wasn't fun!

We stayed in a family suite, and the finishing made the whole suite feel like an afterthought. Bad lighting, clumsy little kitchenette with no space for dishwashing, etc.

Couple journey

We ar a couple that did a little journey tru the beauty of Kerry and surrounding beautiful places and we wanted to stay in a nice place so the Brook Lane was perfect . We loved everything from the moment we entered and all the time we stayed. Hotel was very comfortable with nice restaurant and pub on property. It is a little walk into Kenmare town; but it is a sweet walk bu a sheep field and through a neighborhood. Room and bed were very comfortable. Staff was really nice. Breakfast was a treat and the wait staff at breakfast were super!

Might have been nice to be a little closer to town. But also the distance made it a little quieter.
