Lovely clean and friendly hotel for a short stay

Very friendly receptionist checked us in and upgraded our room to the Pearl suite. Beautiful room with adjoining room.

The atmophere and the friendlyness of the staff was very welcoming and the food was excellent.

Spacious, clean, friendly, and brilliant food.

Room was spacious with double and single bed. Very comfortable bed, great pillows and duvet. Great choice of TV channels, plenty of tea/coffee provided, bathroom spacious and overall spotless. The breakfast was outstanding, every choice you could think of and great quality, loved how they brought you a big pot of tea and big basket of toast.

Parking was very limited outside reception and would be an issue when raining. Disability spaces very limited, I believe only two outside reception car park, there were more EV charging spaces, maybe something they could look at to improve customer experience. The walk from room which was in the block facing the main reception and quickest way was through car park, lovely in summer not so in dark, wet, windy nights. I know there was a long way round, but with anyone with mobility issues, shortest route through the car park.

Comfortable, spacious, well located, cosy.

Spacious and well laid out lodge that exceeded my expectations. I was travelling with my student sons and it really suited our family - plenty of privacy and minutes away from Kenmare town. It also has a real fireplace to create a cosy atmosphere. I would definitely return.

Friendly Atmosphere / Great location

Staff were very friendly and liked their jobs which is always a good sign in any hotel. Location was perfect 3 min walk to centre. Rooms very clean and plenty of space. Nice view from room. Breakfast was great.

Lovely hotel, excellent location

Lovely room away from the main building so it was very quiet. Really convenient to the centre of the beautiful town of Kenmare. It is in a lovely setting and really easy to get to by car.

Excellent place to start our Ring of Kerry trip

Warm welcome at reception, check-in quick and easy, rooms were warm, very clean and comfortable and the hotel was only a short walk from town. Good parking close to reception. Didn't have time to use the pool but it looked very inviting and the health facilities looked good too. Excellent cooked breakfast and easy check-out, what more could we have wanted.

Fabulous stay in a really lovely hotel, would throughly recommend.

Greeted by a young gentleman and check in was quick and painless! Room was large and spotless, bathroom was lovely and shower was amazing. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Just happy all round!

Good touring base for Cork/Kerry

Good location for Kenmare town (shops/restaurants etc), and an ideal base for touring Kerry/Cork. Rooms were a good size, and had all the facilities you would need. Restaurant on site for dinner in case of long days/poor weather.

Leisure facilities were very nice

Room very basic, in need of some upgrades, fridge very noisy. In order to order a drink at the bar, we had to call a mobile number for bar staff to call up to the bar to serve drinks

Not convenient for the town. Large unwelcome buildings

Disabled parking some distance from entrance. EVs had priority. Room ok with loose fittings and exposed wiring. Food was good but it was a ‘package holiday’ hotel and the staff were running round after guests. Having been ignored after being shown to our table, for 30 minutes, we were ready to leave. An order was finally taken for a drink. We finished up just having food and going. Not one to visit again.
