A lovely place to stay in the centre of Kenmare

Helen who checked us in was lovely. The room was spacious, very clean and the bed was most comfortable. The ensuite was lovely too. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and again, Helen was lovely to chat with.

Great stay in lovely Kenmare

Good spacious room. Excellent breakfasts from a varied menu (2 night stay). We loved Kenmare town and the Townhouse is very centrally located with lots of free parking nearby.

I'm "picking hairs", but breakfast started at 8-30, we usually prefer 8-00

The Townhouse was a great location right in downtown. The room was a good size and very clean. The staff were exceptionally friendly. Lucy and her mum serve a fabulous breakfast and go out of their way to be friendly and welcoming. They make sure everyone is happy.

Great location, outstanding breakfasts, and attentive hosts! Highly recommended!

Breakfast was the headline at Bridge Street. Out of 16 days in Ireland, our breakfasts with Lucy were off the charts. From an extensive fruit/pastry/yogurt bar, to a comprehensive hot menu made to order, our days couldn't have started any better. The location was perfect - far enough from the pubs to be quiet, yet everything was just a short walk away. Lucy and her mom made sure we had everything we needed. We used Bridge Street as a base to explore the Ring of Kerry and climb Mt. Carrauntoohil. Terrific stay and would highly recommend!

We feel so lucky that we decided to stay here for three nights. Such a great location to do and see many of the hot spots in the area. We loved starting our days chatting with Helen and Lucy while enjoying the amazing breakfast.

Happy with our choice. Definitely added much to ur stay in Kenmare and whole trip.

Breakfast was sublime. By far the yummiest breakfast we had in our 2 week trip in Ireland. Parking was convenient. The hostess was very welcoming with helpful restaurant tips. She recommended drinks and art at the Park Hotel--fully enjoyed. The room was wonderfully appointed, with a nice intimate sensibility. Lots of floorspace.

In fact, so much floorspace, we could easily open our luggage on the floor. Beacuse the rack was inadequate and was hard on our backs. So a bit more counter space--in the bedroom and bathroom would definitely enhance our stay. I set up the kettle and coffee makings with the ironing board on the luggage rack: 1) to be able to access an electic outlet 2) lack of counter space to be able set up morning coffee. Worked beautifully. However, not the vibe we would all like for the room. Suggest more surface to put stuff in both bedroom and bathroom.

The location of this property is brilliant, Lucy greeted us on arrival. She is friendly and helpful and a lovely person. Our breakfast was first class. A menu with a plenty options. Also the best breakfast buffet I’ve seen. The twin room we had was one of the best we have ever stayed in. Large with plenty of windows. I absolutely loved this guest house.

NOTHING!! It’s perfect. The only thing I didn’t like, was Lucy is booked out until next year 😞

On our arrival we were greeted by Lucy. Showed us to our lovely rooms. Breakfast was amazing. Better than any hotel. Lucy and family were excellent hosts. Kenmare was a fabulous town. We enjoyed all aspects of the area. Great scenery. We will be back again for sure.

Absolutely incredible, Lucy is the best host you could ask for

We loved everything about our stay here. Lucy and the staff were so accommodating, they even washed and dried some suit trousers in an emergency situation. She also went above and beyond to help us with taxis and local info. Incredible breakfast, lovely beds, super clean and the most welcoming stay you could have asked for. If we ever travel to that part of the world again, there's only one place we'd stay and it's here. Thank you, Lucy!

Exceeded all expectations! The place is well-maintained, we had a beautiful vintage-style room with a king-size bed. All the furniture looked so solid and like new. The bathroom was spotless! And next morning you wake up to an amazing breakfast - you get a menu with roughly great 7 meals to choose from + a selection of freshly baked pastries AND cakes AND fruit. It felt like the owner went an extra mile with everything and put so much love into this place - starting from lovely dish sets, ending with overall great level or service and cleanness. Typically we like to explore different places to stay when traveling around Ireland, but I would definitely book this place when we come back to Kenmare.

The staff were awesome, as was the breakfast. The rooms were spacious and extremely clean. The bed was very comfortable. I loved that there were plants all over the inside and outside of the building. Special shoutout to Lucy, the owner, providing us with great ideas for our daily excursions.

One of our three rooms was facing the square and they had a hard time sleeping because of the noise. Granted it was a Friday and Saturday night. Not much of a complaint, just something to note for future bookings.
