We stayed here for the easy access to Landmark and the Highland Wildlife Centre. The room was clean and comfortable, but what always lets hotels down is the lack of drying facilities for wet towels, especially when there is a swimming pool on the grounds! A mini fridge would be great too. The swimming pool is great, kids were in there every night after our busy days! We never used any other facilities, but would stay here again.

Spent 2 nights in this hotel overall it was good but room was cold our window wasn’t shutting properly. Entertainment ok but not everyday . Swimming pool and soft play my kids loved it :)

We booked a family room for 3 nights, breakfast included, costing us *** We previously had stayed at the Macdonald Aviemore twice in the last 10 years, and feels like it is getting worse every time we go back. I can live with the outdated decor and old furniture, but our room needed quite a lot of TLC, blinds ripped, toilet paper holder falling off, mattress/cushions well past their due date, etc. There was also mould in the shower head, opened complimentary soap/handcream, dead fly in one of the brochures and carpet was disgusting. All the corridors and entrances coming from the car park are rather depressing too.
In terms of facilities, the soft play is pretty good. The Activity centre is amazing, lots of things to do, with various rooms, toys, arts and crafts for the little ones. Swimming pool is also quite good.
Breakfast was just ok, not many healthy options available, other than yogurt, cereal, and sad looking fruit. Most pastries were not fresh and quite dry. Plenty of bacon, eggs, and sausages though!
