I will definitely be back with my family and highly recommend this accommodation.
We absolutely loved this accommodation. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. There was a special amenity in our room. The shuttle service was excellent and very convenient. The hotel is also fantastic for children and perfectly located for skiing. They have the cutest kid’s bathrobes and slippers with little fluffy toys. We would happily return.
The only negative points during our stay were related to cleanliness. When I visited the spa right after opening at 7am, it didn’t feel tidy or clean enough in my opinion. There were several wet towels left in the basket and some used glasses, with no staff or other guests present at that time. In my experience, spa areas are usually cleaned very promptly after visitors. Additionally, after a full day of skiing, our rooms (as well as those of our family members) had not yet been serviced by 3pm. However, once we mentioned this to the receptionist, housekeeping was arranged immediately, which we really appreciated. The cinema room is a lovely feature, but it felt quite dusty during our visit. The couches made me feel itchy, although this may just have been a personal sensitivity.

Delicious breakfast, cozy atmosphere, and friendly waiters and reception staff. This is the first time in my life I’ve seen that a bottle of water is not included in the room and costs 7 CHF. There was one bottle of water in the room when we arrived (was it welcome drink?!) but when we asked for it to be refilled, we were told that water is not included and that we would have to pay for it. And only thanks to the front office staff member who brought two bottles of water for free was the overall impression softened.
1. Poor housekeeping service Dear Management, during the high season you should consider hiring more housekeeping staff to address this issue. During our stay, we did not see housekeepers for two consecutive days. Please do not respond by saying there was a “Do Not Disturb” sign—we were not in the room for more than 5–6 hours during the day, which is more than enough time to clean a 55 m² room. 2. Wooden sticks instead of spoons Wooden sticks instead of proper spoons in a five-star hotel? Seriously? 3. Breakfast service issue At breakfast, there is an à la carte menu offering omelets and Eggs Benedict, but the waiters did not inform us about it or offer these options.

Outstanding stay
An absolutely outstanding stay at the Chalet Royalp Hotel! From the warm welcome to the relaxing spa and the beautifully decorated, extremely comfortable Junior Suite, everything was simply perfect. The breakfast fully met the standards of this type of establishment, and the staff were exceptionally attentive and caring throughout our stay. Truly a flawless experience — we are already looking forward to our next visit!
