Villars is fantastic

location - big spacious room

parking … and charging my electric car; it was a fixed extra cost of chf25.- to access the paid charge (I only charged for 3.5 hours)

Good for ski trips but requires improvement for non-skiers for food and the gym

Great location, it takes 1 mins to the telecabin by bus. Clean and spacious rooms. Helpful staff. Good and affordable choice for the ski trip

Breakfast looks good but food can be improved, especially for healthy options. Gym requires serious improvement. The machines are very old, some of them not working. The weights are a joke: they have only 0.5 or 1kg... The water dispenser was not working in the gym. Even after informing the staff it remained not working during our stay.

Nicely decorated, modern and clean room. Friendly staff, even though the checkout took a bit longer than expected. Happy with what I got. Couldn' test breakfast or the amenities, as I arrived late and had to leave very early.

The room was so quiet I couldn’t believe it. I opened the window for fresh alpine air, with a bit of street noise and conversation down below. The view is wonderfully inspiring, and breakfast hit the spot every day.

Booked conference room. Hotel double booked it after we booked so we were farmed out to sister hotel that was massively overcharging- £50 for 2 Aperol Spritz.. Management lied about reason for moving us until pushed hard. Expensive but then is Switzerland

Disappointed by a noisy, subpar basement room on our fourth visit, we're now seeking alternatives.

The location of this hotel is excellent, with good access to car parking. The restaurant is also very good and the breakfast which was served in the Palace hotel was excellent.

We have stayed at this hotel three times before, but our most recent experience was disappointing. Our room was located in the basement, lacking the extra bed we expected. There were no clear directions to our room, and upon arrival, we discovered large stains on the carpet. Additionally, our room was positioned uncomfortably close to the area where bottles were disposed of, leading to loud noises throughout the night/morning. Although this hotel was previously our preferred choice in Villar, we are now considering other options for future visits.

If you are from indian subcontinent, food in lunch and dinner is not upto the taste especially vegetarian food.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the hotel is very tastefully decorated. The breakfast in the morning is copious and delicious!

The shower in the bathroom was faulty and could use fixing. There was no hair conditionner or moisturiser in the bathroom, which I would expect of a 4 star hotel.

Could be a nice hotel with different management.

The beds were comfy and the location of the hotel was excellent.

The staff seemed to lack motivation. Multiple guests, including myself, waited at the front desk while employees frequently engaged in conversations in the back room. Despite the conditions on Booking.com indicating the option to add an extra bed for children (aged 9 years), I was required to upgrade my room. Furthermore, the pool was not accessible, and we were not informed of this in advance.

The room was clean the hotel is well located.

We arrived, there was no booking, even with the confirmation number of BOOKING.COM there could not retrieve my booking. The internet was down, and even the key for the rooms did not work due to the malfunctioning of the internet. The hotel only had two single beds, the BOOKING was made for a king size double bed. We visited 4 rooms and finally staff had to leave since it was midnight, and then one had to run over to another hotel nearby to use the internet to fix the keys. Then somehow the internet came through at night, but was charged two times for the same night.

Parking arrangement is poor, despite paying the daily fee and using the hotel sign, a fine was issued by the local police. Some hotel amenities like pool and spa/well being are outdated and the water temperature was cold. No frigo or any utensils in the room

Exceptional

Incredibly good location! We had a very spacious room with a beautiful view, modern design and a king size bed. All the staff were very friendly and professional. There is a bar in the lobby with a good selection of drinks and delicious food. The hotel is wonderful! The nearest ski lift is very close: you can get from the bus stop Hotels or walk 5 minutes
