We had an exceptional time at Meijikan. The place was almost totally empty, it felt like we had the place to ourselves! No one was in the onsen every time we used it. The open air onsen was a huge plus too. Breakfast and dinner were delicious and the staff were so kind and were patient with our terrible Japanese.
Bummer there’s no laundry facilities. The town is pretty run down, there’s not much to do. This isn’t a problem as long as you’re okay with 100% relaxing.

Great view. lovely staff. very spacious rooms. very modern toilet in the room.
While the private onsen was great, the public onsen could have been a bit better. the tatami room while very spacious, had very few electrical sockets
