    Everything was beyond exceptional the staffs friendliness, the amazing food, the beautiful scenery, the cleanliness of the facility, and the way the location made you feel as if you were in another time made it one of the best places I’ve ever visited . Me and my family are very grateful for the staff and experience and we will visit again.

    Luxurious stay. Room had private onsen. Staff were really kind and went out of their way to help us. Meals were nutritious and filling (breakfast and dinner provided). Dinner was a sumptuous 8 course meal. Slightly pricey ($800 per night), but well worth the money if you’d like a nice treat and hassle free stay. Good place to retreat away from everything

    Location is a little hard to get to so factor in taxi cost to your stay. (Y4600 per way fm Shuzenji Station) Hotel room and view is superb and feels very private..however water in room onsen is not very hot and we were surprised the water for the room shower was turned off by 9am when check out is 10am. Staff are exceptional and went out of their way to assist and communicate in our language. However the keiseiki dinner included in package was not to our expection and we noted that the menu for tables that may have ordered ala carte or book thru hotel direct are more interesting. The trail to see Mt Fuji is not to be missed and do factor in around 2hrs for the whole experience Oh, and the curry bread from the bakery is simply yummy

    Beautiful place especially during autumn foliage. The Kaiseki is very seasonal and delicious. Highly recommend riverside room.
