Key West hidden gem close to it all and then some!

Great location "ten steps" to harbor, wharf, excellent food and many many bars. The room we had was wonderfully appointed and spacious and very peaceful. It was fun to have our own sunning porch. We loved interacting with the other guests as the quaintness allows that. Kristen was a pleasure to work with, chat to and she pours a killer cocktail at happy hour.

The room we had, Puerto Rico, may not be suited for the taller folks as the ceiling is very angular in the gables and peaks at the top of the house.

Slightly underwhelming

The staff were lovely , the young guy working was like a trooper , Isabelle was welcoming and friendly , location was fantastic , there was a nice seating area by our room with rocking chairs and it was nice and peaceful, this place I feel is for regulars that come time and time again , making it a friendly atmosphere .

Unfortunately the breakfast was lacking , no pastries and very basic , didn’t realise you can help yourself to orange juice in the fridge , BTY the fridge in the breakfast area was filthy and needs a good clean , my box of cereal was out of date and stale, The pool was warm but too small to swim in . The bed was really low and hard as were the pillows , watch out for the hard wooden bed frame as it sticks out leading to you banging your knees and legs , also the lack of toiletries in the bathroom, one miniature shampoo and a little bar of soap .

The property is beautiful. Staff was very friendly. The breakfast in the morning was a great start to the day. Having a place to store luggage before check in and after check out was key also.

The air conditioner in the room shut off overnight and it was very warm while trying to sleep. We couldn’t open any blinds due to being right next door to the office.

Location, is great. Main staff management woman is helpful, nice, supportive.

A bit sad to have a lovely "B&B" that then serves a breakfast that is self serve, with paper cups wrapped in plastic, plastic plates, plastic knives, plastic for jam and butter and cream cheese, then more plastic for fake coffee creamer. Isn't a B&B really supposed to have an owner who greets, is kind, serves a real cooked breakfast? And what's with the tropics and not being able to turn AC down below 72 degrees or it "freezes" -- really?

A real gem in the heart of the action but peaceful and tucked away.

It was just perfect! Beautiful grounds. The room was beautiful. Bed was comfortable. The location is the best. Close to everything. We are so happy to have found this absolute gem and will be coming back whenever we go down to Key West.

Our Old Florida Tropical Oasis

We found our little tropical oasis in the perfect location! The property was well maintained. The staff was informative and friendly! The room we loved- nicely appointed. We have stayed in multiple places in Key West and this place is by far our favorite! We even had the chance to hang out with Mango and Mojito by the pool. We will definitely be back next year!

Terrific inn, perfect location, but you might want to preview your room carefully before booking.

It has a lovely tropical "plantation" vibe and a terrific location. I even found free street parking just a block away. Easy check-in process with the friendly Tracy (who has managed the inn for 24 years!) and everything extremely clean, the grounds well manicured. Poolside breakfast and happy hour is a wonderful bonus. They even let me linger by the pool an hour or two after check-out until it was time for me to depart Key West

The bed was uncomfortable (mattress hard as a rock, and I'm not picky). Couldn't sleep and woke with a serious back ache. Every window looked into a common walkway or exterior staircase so you couldn't keep the shades open without everyone seeing you 3 feet away in your room. No streaming service on TV

Great stay will be back

Loved the location, close to everything! The property was beautifully landscaped and secluded from noise and the busy town. The breakfasts were perfect continental choices, which brought all the guests together for a morning gathering. Guests also enjoyed gathering at Happy Hour in late afternoon. The room was very clean and well kept during our stay. Highly recommend!

The room was very clean. The location was great. Towels were fluffy. AC worked well. Coffee was strong.

No table on one side of bed. Old building with not enough electrical outlets. One outlet was so high up on the wall it could not be reached. Fan did not work. Generic bar of soap, shampoo/conditioner combo--that's all we got for $400. Breakfast buffet was not worth eating. Bagels wrapped in plastic wrap, cheerios, etc. Would do better with just fresh pastries, fresh squeezed juice and coffee--but fresh!

Parking on the street was limited at times but walking felt safe and mostly convenient. Not a fault if the B&B, it’s just that lots of visitors to key west means less parking space.

Quiet, tucked away in our tree house, like we’re on our own private island- while able to run out and get coffee, and cookies, and gifts, and seashells, and art…within a 5 min walk. Bikes easily accessible on site for venturing to North Duval or Bahama Village.
