Pictures are misleading. More like motel. Noisy. No staff on site. Rooms need a lot of tlc. Many steps if not on first floor. Don’t expect any early check in. Location is only plus.

Convenient location to Duval Street. Extremely cold in room though during a cold snap, as there is no heat (it was an AC unit only and temps were in the 40s). We were told to use more blankets when we inquired - not the best reply. Wish the listing said AC only.

Fabulous location Cute old mansion But… lack of effort by management-1 employee at place the sell dryer out offerings No coffee pods in room. I guess the expected us to walk 17 stairs to pick up ourselves. The electric lift didn’t work even had key in it. The tat didn’t work bathroom had heat bulb

Room was very clean and comfortable. The building was absolutely gorgeous. It is a little odd in that the entire check-in and out process is remote - there is no staff on site. I did have to call them for a question though and it was immediately answered by a person who got me what I needed immediately. There is a free, very nice washer and dryer with free laundry detergent!

If you want to be close to the "action" of Key West, this is the place. A half block from arguably the center of Key West's Duval St. entertainment and restaurant district. The Inn does not have elevators so if you get a second floor room be prepared for climbing lots of stairs - we are older so that was a bit of a challenge. The Suite was roomy but the carpet was dated and clean but stained from years of use. Parking was a challenge but manageable. All in all, we would stay here again. I didn't give it 5 stars because we had to cut our stay short due to a severe ice storm bearing down on our home in NC and we had to leave. The Inn was receptive to giving us a refund for our unused 2 nights (or so it seemed) but they told us we had to reach out to Expedia (Hotels.com) and that seems to be an impossible task. If we return, we will probably try to book directly through the Inn and I am not sure we will use Expedia/Hotels.com for any future travel plans.

This property needs an infusion of cash to repair and paint the massive amount of woodwork and decks. The room we had was large. Clean. Comfortable bed. Wicker furniture and lamps that had seen better days. Big shower. Decent towels. Keurig coffeemaker but no K cups. There is no check in desk. You are sent check in information including the code to your room. It serves its purpose but if this had been for a romantic weekend I would not have been happy.

This was the most terrible experience I had. The building was a beautiful one, but it was very unclean. there was hair al over the place. the shelves were all dusty. I didnt stay at the hotel the last night as there was a lizard in the room. it was also not gated, in a very busy district. So there was a homeless coming in the pool area and cursing people, and we had to call 911, as there was no reception desk and the number they gave us didn't pick up.

I was hesitant to book this place at first. It was the most expensive option I was considering and the reviews were very mixed. The location seemed unbeatable and the idea of staying in a Victorian haunted mansion felt too unique to pass up, so I decided to try it. After reading more about the previous owner who used to run the B&B, I understand why some earlier guests felt disappointed when they returned after the new management took over. If you want a classic mom and pop style stay with a very personal touch, this is not that type of experience. It is now run by a corporate management company and the atmosphere reflects that. With adjusted expectations, and knowing how pricey Key West is in general, this ended up being a great stay for us. The property is beautiful and full of history. I had only seen Victorian mansions in movies and TV, so it was exciting to walk through one in real life. Our room was big and bright. I did see a review mentioning that the art was removed and the nails were still on the wall. That is true, but it honestly did not matter. I did not come to a historic inn in Key West to look at discount wall art. You will hear some noise at night since the hotel is very close to Duval Street. It was not as bad as I expected. My mom is a very light sleeper and she slept without any issues. A big highlight was how dog friendly the hotel and the whole town are. We brought our dog and he was so happy the entire trip. He walked everywhere with us and slept t

I think there are two main things you should expect in a hotel room. One is a comfortable bed, and this one sags like a hammock… Terrible bed and second hot water. There is no hot water out of the faucet, and after running the water in the shower for five minutes some hot water came on and jump in and of course it turns cold in three minutes. Now, of course I’m not even mentioning the 7–1 inch long Palmetto roaches I found dead on the floor when I got in, quite disgusting. They seemed kind of crusty like they’ve been there for a while. By the way, there’s no free coffee or tea… You can buy it with some expensive croissants…. Setting up George’s as a profit center is not a convenience; just in the front to what should be expected at a B&B… That would normally be a minor continental breakfast, coffee, and tea. I wish I could’ve provided a better rating… But come on curry mansion! You can do better. There is nobody to greet you, they have a remote call center… Which by the way has operators in the same room and if more than one agent is talking, you can’t even hear who you’re talking to. Oh, Good luck finding the light switches in my room in the main house.lol

Very close to everything on duval street very smooth check in and communication huge shower and room we stayed in a classic king and very reasonable on the price separate area/sink for the wife to do her hair and makeup, free washer and dryer with supplies to do your laundry, lots of clean towels available, didn’t lack for anything, already booked for next year.

Check in was super easy. The pool was super fun, guest interactions were great. Bed was comfy, and clean. The property and amenities are very good. The onsite bar was closed, and the bathroom floor could have been a little cleaner but overall a great stay.

Check in was tough as one of our rooms was not as advertised and in poor condition. As we checked in after 6 o’clock, the representatives on the hotel hotline, we’re not able to help us. However, the next morning Anthony, one of the hotel, managers, made things right and we ended up having a wonderful time at the hotel with friends and family. The hotel has a great location and is steeped in history. We would stay there again.
