Overpriced and dirty.

It was good to have 3 bedrooms

It was desperate for a redecoration. It wasn’t clean in general and wasn’t clean overall. Toilet seat and shower broken. Furniture dirty. Ash tray out side full. Clearly not vacuumed or dusted properly. Very disappointing especially with the cost of the stay.

Ideal for a big group going to Thruxton race circuit

Good location, Nice garden, Plenty of parking, A group of us were going to Thruxton race circuit for an event & used this as our base! Easy to get taxis there & back

hell on earth

the location was ideal for the purpose of our trip

everything! the property we were placed in was not the property advertised. we booked Batchelors barn road we got put in Junction Road, this property is under a completely different ad on this site! the house was filthy, blood on one of the couches and the other had stains all over it. there were stains on most of the carpets, rips in the carpet on the stairs,broken floor tiles, plug socket hanging off the wall , marks on the bed sheets, the cooker looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. To pay a £70 cleaning charge this is clearly not being used to clean! the decking outside is rotten to the point the bannister could give way if lent on. I messaged the property with these points and apart from acknowledging the contact I have had no reply no apologies nothing!Do yourself a favour and pay a few extra £ .don’t book with these cowboys!

The house was very cosy & homely

I have never seen such an empty kitchen in a holiday home. The house sleeps up to 7 people, there were 5 mugs, 5 dinner plates, 6 small plates & 6 cereal bowls. There were no other bowls to make salad etc.

A great, simple and cozy home

Location- very close to walk into the town A lovely quiet street. The house is a good size, lovely big kitchen, conservatory and garden. We felt very at home for the week. It is a cozy and relaxing place to stay.

Uncomfortable house in need of an upgrade

We liked the garden and conservatory where we spent time together.

Really old house, uncomfortable beds and mattresses. Broken shower head, broken toilet seat. Poor kitchen appliances and luck of cutlery, mugs, pots and pans. In need of a serious upgrade.

Great house, or thought the decking was lose and one of us tripped and hurt ankle

The email saying we had to pay for a Burn on the carpet which was from hair straighteners when the three of us are all male and bald - when challenged haven’t heard anything still waiting for insurance details due to the fall. My colleague had three days off work due to injury

Using Booking.Com was effortless and so easy. Lots of updates and details sent without asking. Great

Very easy to find and excellent communication prior to and during our stay. The house had plenty of room and is ideally located for our purpose. Area very quiet and the off street parking right by the front door a great bonus for luggage etc. If visiting the area for any purpose I would highly recommend this house, especially if you have 3 or more staying as the house and rooms are spacious. There were only two of us and I kept losing her :).

It would be amiss to write something just for the sake of it. I was more than happy with the accommodation. Well maybe a breakfast in bed service would be nice :)
